The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation (YKHC) is located in the Southwestern Alaska town of Bethel, with a total of approximately 6,000 people. YKHC supports 1500 employees, providing the health services to a primarily Yup'ik Eskimo Native population for an area the size of Oregon. Services are provided through a Bethel located hospital and 50 clinics throughout the YK Delta.
Provide procurement and supply distribution services to the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation and the Yukon Kuskokwim Delta Regional Hospital. Maintain all supply rooms at the YKDRH. Cooperate with other warehouse staff in maintaining the Distribution Center.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
Minimum Experience: Word Processing and database application experience highly desired. At least six (6) months working in a position with similar duties.
License, Certification, Registration: Valid State of Alaska License. HazMat/IATA & forklift certification with a year of accepting position.
Equipment/Tools: Computer, fax machine, copier
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers , common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
