RxSight is an ophthalmic medical technology corporation headquartered in Aliso Viejo, California that has commercialized the worlds first and only adjustable intraocular lens (IOL) that is customized after cataract surgery. The companys mission is to revolutionize the premium cataract surgery experience by allowing surgeons to partner with their patients to achieve optimized results for every unique eye.

OVERVIEW:

This position is primarily responsible for executing supply chain solutions supporting company objectives relating to demand planning, inventory management, and production scheduling. This position manages such within the QAD ERP Manufacturing Enterprise Application and maintains all planning/scheduling duties. Responsibilities also include daily/weekly/monthly report generation, basic analysis, and cross functional coordination amongst customer operations, procurement/supply chain, and manufacturing. Maintains department procedures and work instructions to ensure 100% compliance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inventory Management

• Performs inventory level checks to ensure manufacturing point of use materials, finished goods, and kanbans are sufficiently stocked.

• Prepares material shortage reports and coordinates with procurement to ensure sufficient and timely supply of materials per the latest manufacturing plan or change requests.

• Leads expedite activities of materials and sub-assemblies through receiving, incoming quality inspections, warehousing, and manufacturing whenever required.

• Assess historical trends to determine appropriate inventory carrying levels of spare parts. Monitor inventory and ensure targets are achieved/maintained.

• Attend recurring change control meetings and provide detailed information on inventory implementation and disposition plans for each change request.

• Master Scheduling

• Processes work order for all components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods.

• Reviews closed work orders, assesses variances, determines root cause, and performs corrective actions to reduce subsequent variances.

• Works with functional leads to ensure back flushing activities are performed routinely and timely.

• Attend weekly production planning meetings to align on forthcoming activities, sequencing, and priorities.

• Quality

• Ensures compliance to procedures, updates work instructions as required, and completes all training on time.

• Updates item planning and item inventory parameters for new and revised items.

• Provides support to cross functional teams to ensure accurate inventory and distribution management and to comply to procedures.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Direct work experiences in material requirements planning, inventory control management and production scheduling

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and TRAINING:

• Bachelor degree preferred and/or three (3) plus years of materials & inventory management experience in the Medical Device industry with direct working experience with RD and manufacturing.

• QAD MFG/PRO expert, QMS / Agile or electronic Document Control system.

• APICS, CPIM, or CPM Certifications, classes or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

• Certified in Production Planning.

• Training to be completed per the training plan for this position as maintained in the document control system

• The training requirements on TRN-10007 Insider Trading Policy, TRN-10008 Global Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy and TRN-10009 Code of Business Conducts and Ethics must be diligently completed within 30 days from the hiring date and on an annual basis

COMPUTER SKILLS:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must have prior ERP/MRP experience, (preferably in the QAD application), be proficient in MS office, and have advanced-level MS excel skills.
