The Position: The Supply Planner role is responsible for development and execution of the supply plan on a defined segment of the product portfolio and will be held accountable for weeks of supply (WOS), slow moving obsolete goods (SMOG), finished goods availability, and controlling landed product cost across a national network of supply and 3PL distribution partners. Through the daily activities of this position, the Supply Planner will mitigate upstream supply chain exposure by proactively identifying risks, constraints, inefficiencies, and drive corrective action plans guided by root cause analysis. Strong collaboration with internal and external partners, fact-based decision making, ability to effectively communicate, possessing a data and reporting skillset, and the ability to effectively operate in formal planning systems and processes are critical to success in role.

The Location: Hybrid combining working from home, and onsite in White River Junction VT. Ideal candidates will be located within a 2-3-hour drive of our offices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supply Planning
Develop monthly supply plans to deliver KAB inventory targets and ensure finished goods availability
Manage supply plan execution and day-to-day performance for select supply partners
Daily monitoring of finished goods availability to signal and guide timely corrective action
Optimize inbound shipments to minimize freight costs and environmental impact
Responsible for timely and accurate management of relevant EDI/API transaction errors
Operational management, reconciliation, and reporting of applicable commodity contracts
Proactively identify and communicate upstream supply chain risks, constraints, and inefficiencies - outline and drive corrective action plans based on root cause analysis
Actively manage SMOG and waste avoidance and reduction
Create monthly supply projections to guide capacity planning and Tier 2 procurement
Contributes to product commercialization initiatives - new site onboarding, new product launches, SKU rationalization, product transitions
Responsible for maintenance and optimization of planning parameters within KAB planning systems
Transactional management of finished goods Procure to Pay (P2P) cycle
Implement and manage supply strategies which optimize end-to-end supply chain efficiencies
Track and report supply partner performance
Leverage data and reporting tools to make fact-based supply chain recommendations and decisions
Additional Responsibilities
Collaborates with supply chain and cross-functional partners to deliver special projects
Commits to personal development and growth by engaging in individual development initiatives

Minimum job requirements
Bachelor's degree or minimum of 3 years of relevant Supply Chain experience
Demonstrated experience in automated Procure to Pay and Planning systems
Strong analytical skills with the ability to formulate and articulate valid conclusions
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Self-starter with the ability to effectively manage time while delivering results in a dynamic business environment
Ability to identify and define issues, lead root cause analysis, and develop and manage corrective action plans
Ability to understand and consider business impact across functions
Experience with data and analytics tools
Proficiency in Microsoft O365 - including SharePoint and strong Excel skills
Supply chain certification preferred
Experience in a consumer packaged goods setting strongly preferred

Physical requirements/work environment
The work environment of this position is conducted within a general office setting with the function being performed at the computer, either at home or in company offices.
