As a Supply Lead you will maintain, develop, implement, and coordinate systems and procedures that facilitate an effective flow of materials and information throughout the plant. Ensures the business strategy is delivered through an engaged, motivated and capable team within scheduling and supply planning.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
Responsible for the planning and analysis required to ensure the adequate supply of raw materials/components to meet production demands and timely delivery of finished goods to market
Direct the site's purchasing to ensure timely delivery of consumer healthcare products in the USA, Canada, and export markets
Ensure site has highest standard and is compliant for Environment, Health and Safety and Sustainability. Support and Provide effective leadership in place to drive the EHS Management System on site that ensures full compliance to regulatory and customer expectations
Responsible for inventory of and flow of raw materials/components through the manufacturing site and provide support to Supply Planners to ensure timely and efficient utilization of commodities
Partner with Global and Site Procurement to ensure vendor relationships are maintained to support Oral Care manufacturing
Implement line time reservation systems and like methodologies to ensure on time/in full deliveries of both raw materials/components
Ensure proper APICS methodologies are utilized to maintain data integrity within SAP system to ensure demand communications are accurate and precise
Partner with NPI teams to ensure all unique and new items are integrated within the site systems correctly
Effective proactive liaison with other departments as necessary to plan and meet supply demands.
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
3 or more years of experience in strategy deployment or project management
Logistics experience in a Current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Master's degree in Supply Chain Management
Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent leadership and influencing skills
Strong SAP knowledge
Lean Six Sigma certification
