Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems is currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator 3 to assist our Receiving/Shipping team at our Promontory facility.

Role description &

Responsibilities:

Successful candidate will perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping, receiving, excessing and warehousing duties, which will require the use of hand trucks, forklifts and other material handling devices, as well as computers to maintain data. Position requires the following:

Job Duties:

Receive stock and issue materials used in manufacturing areas.
Utilize a computerized MRP system (Cost Point) to input a variety of material related transactions.
Perform inventories, material obsolescence reviews and overhead material planning.
Work in shipping, receiving and stores areas.
Operate narrow aisle forklifts, pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts or various sizes.

Experience Requirements:

Candidate must have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of warehouse or retail experience.

Experience Preferred:

Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office
Demonstrated ability to work alone and in a team environment
Good interpersonal skills with all levels of employees and customers
Self-motivated and able to work with supervision
Able to solve problems

Education/Certifications:

High School diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
Ability to obtain an Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems forklift license
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to sit/stand for up to 9 hours each day. 9/80 schedule.

Job Description: This position will be providing support to the Operations Director and Center of Excellence leadership team.. As such, this individual will be expected to review/create various types of correspondence including high-level and confidential/proprietary information. Role Description & Responsibilities: The Material Distribution Handling Support employee will perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping, receiving, picking, stocking and inventory control warehousing duties, which may require the use of hand trucks, forklifts and other material handling devices, as well as computers and various software applications to maintain data. Job Duties: * Class A CDL equipment operator, TA day cab tractor, flat bed, reefer, dry box vans, etc. * Receive materials on plant * Place material in kits, identifies kits, and transports kits to storage or point of use * Perform safe handling and processing of hazardous material(s) * Capable of working in a harsh environment.
