Supply Chain Manager, Depot Operations
The SCM Relationship Manager will manage Supplier performance metrics. This individual must have experience in Supplier Management (preferably repair and return suppliers). The SCM Relationship Manager will partner with internal, functional and process owners to identify and continually improve business processes and drive change within Product SCM, as well as other Asurion teams and external Suppliers.
Effectively manage external supplier relationships focusing on performance to SOW requirements, SLA's, KPIs and other metrics and daily, weekly, and monthly communications for early identification of issue and work with depot to understand and clarify action items.
Ensure processes and procedures are followed, and alignment exists with Asurion objectives. Including, but not limited to, on site operational audits.
Plan, manage and monitor new product introductions to assigned Supplier,
Review process failures to determine root causes and identify areas of opportunity supporting the retail supply chain to improve performance.
Identify gaps in current coverage, assist identifying external Suppliers partners (or develop capabilities within existing suppliers) to fill gaps and drive implementation
Support implementation of new location: Contract, SOW, process definitions and system integrations.
Work with internal and external teams on cross-functional projects to ensure the effective and timely completion of process changes.
Develop, Manage and or/ Support pilots to validate theories for improved performance to meet one or more objectives. Pilots will range in complexity.
Identify process improvements that enable better communication and direction with internal and external partners.
Create Solutions for applicable Company initiatives (Cost Savings, NPS, etc.)
Take ownership of issue resolution and enhancement needs.
Proactively problem-solve potential alternative solutions.
Create/ define reports and provide analysis as requested by management staff.
Develop User Acceptance test cases for new initiatives; Coordinate user acceptance testing processes and procedures between IT and Suppliers, evaluate testing results and drive continuous improvement.
Minimum 5 years of related supplier management, relationship and internal client management.
B.S. in SCM, Logistics, or related field. (Experienced with 5S and LEAN practices)
Strong ability to analyze metrics and process performance.
Excellent communication, presentation, analytical and organizational skills. Able to influence at multiple levels of the organization.
Technically proficient Microsoft Offices Suite; intermediate to advance skills in EXCEL
Proven ability to research and develop a clear understanding of relevant functions and duties related to Supplier Management, Contact Center, Claims, and Accounting.
