PITT OHIO, a $705 million, high service, highly profitable, transportation solutions provider offering SUPPLY CHAIN, GROUND, LTL and TRUCKLOAD services is seeking a Supply Chain Solutions Intern. This position is located at our corporate headquarters in the Strip District area of Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsibilities:

  • Loading and auditing carrier invoices for payment

  • Assist in manual rating tasks for billing customers

  • Analyzing customer shipping history files via Excel

Project:

  • Supply Chain handles lightweight freight for multiple Pitt Ohio terminals daily to help with capacity issues. The intern will manage the billing of these accounts and come up with a process we can implement to insure we consistently get all the pro numbers we need.

Qualifications:

  • Must be majoring in Finance, Supply Chain, Accounting or Business

  • Minimum GPA of at least 3.0

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Must be a Junior or Senior level college student

  • Must be able to work well independently as well as part of a team

  • Proficiency in MS Office, with emphasis on Excel

  • Ability to learn additional software quickly
