Supply Chain Specialist/Forklift Operator Lead

PeaceHealth is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist/Forklift Operator Lead for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Variable position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $23.23 - $36.28. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

Responsible for coordinating the day-to-day functions for assigned area. Assists with ensuring that departmental goals are achieved, timelines are met, and service excellence is provided in all aspects of work. Subject matter expert. Provides a variety of material handling support for all areas within assigned region.

Details of the position:

• Assigns work; plans and manages priorities; provides technical assistance; oversees staff schedules; monitors quality of work; monitors team projects; mentors staff; provides constructive feedback; oversees staff training; ensures quality improvement; provides leadership feedback on staff performance; and assists with goal setting for the team.

• Assists with requisitioning, stocking, receipt and distribution of supplies. Upon receipt of supplies, inspects and verifies quantities. Processes documentation on receipt and distribution of supplies according to department operational procedures and policies.

• Responsible for supply inventory monitoring; rotates products, monitors expiration dates, ensures proper labeling and storage of equipment and/or supplies.

• Prepares supplies and equipment for distribution and delivers supplies to departments throughout the assigned region.

• May perform equipment management by coordinating repairs, loaner services and rental equipment to minimize delays in services to department.Qualifications

What you bring:

• College Coursework Required: Fork-lift Swing-Arm Turrent Course with Certificate required within 6 month of hire and renewed as required by OSHA

• Minimum of 2 years Required: Experience as Supply Chain Specialist/Forklift Operator or similar role and

• Required: Computer experience and

• Preferred: Previous leadership experience

• Required: Drivers License

• Ability to operate twenty-four-foot truck with power lift-gate. (Required)

• Knowledge of proper handling of bio-hazardous materials. (Required)

• Must have the ability to work efficiently and responsibly in an environment with multiple demands and short time frames with minimum supervision. (Required)
