What you will do:

As our Supply Chain Specialist, you will help the Operations Teams with researching, evaluating, sourcing, and buying parts for manufacturing of our products. Materials purchased could range from wire, fasteners, electrical gear, and electrical components to supplies for maintenance and operations. This position works in our Ashland, OH location.

The job:

Every day your primary role will be to process purchase orders and confirm purchase order quantity, delivery, and price. You will track orders and investigate inventory and receiving issues. You will plan, order, and expedite all assigned materials needed to meet production requirements, thereby satisfying customer requirements.

The skills you need:

To succeed in this role, you must have experience in purchasing/procurement of products and parts in a manufacturing environment, knowledge of ERP systems, and have knowledge of operations and supply chain management. You must have exceptional communication and time management skills as well and a high level of attention to detail. Three to five years of supply chain/purchasing experience is preferred.
