About ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, a campus of ECU Health Medical Center
ECU Health Beaufort Hospital is located in Washington and serves as a campus ECU Health Medical Center, our Level I Trauma Center in Greenville. The 142-bed full-service hospital offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services including medical, surgical, intensive care, emergency, pediatrics and women's services. In addition there is a lab, diagnostic imaging services, physical and respiratory therapy. The facility also features the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center, offering leading-edge chemotherapy and radiation therapy, among other cancer services.
Position Summary
The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for coordinating requests of supplies/equipment for departments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will perform various tasks using the PeopleSoft platform. Will use the PeopleSoft Mobile Inventory handheld device to perform various tasks such as but not limited to issuing supplies to the end users, receiving inbound shipments, delivery of supplies and performing cycle counts. You will also conduct various Supply Chain Clerk and Pyxis Coordinator activities and perform job functions of the department manager as needed. Other duties include computer data entry, operation of various machines (e.g. postal machine, copy machines, Pyxis Stations etc.) and other duties as assigned. Employee shall be required to maintain the confidentiality, security, and integrity of all information concerning patient care.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required
3-5 years experience required in Material Services, Purchasing or related are required.
Proficient computer skills required in Microsoft Office Suite required
Preferred Requirements
1 year to 3 years related work experience
Logistical experience preferred
