Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Supply Chain Planning Specialist 1 for our El Segundo, CA location.
As part of the NGAS Global Supply Chain (GSC) Sourcing & Operations, Performance team, the individual will be required to support a diverse array of tasks and projects within the GSC organization. Along with other tasks, the Position will interface with GSC organizations, contracts administration, legal, and supplier quality to work the NGAS GSC Supplier Scorecard Process.
Support and administer the Subcontract Assessment Management System (SAMS) tool and process
Support and administer the SAP Scorecard Process
Support the Supplier Red/Yellow Recovery Plan Process
The individual is required to prepare Metric packages for GSC, Program and Customer/DCMA use
Create and provide presentations required in broadcasting Global Supply Chain Scorecard status
Must be able to support ad-hoc reports for deep dive analysis and other areas
Have knowledge of Supply Chain Management/Procurement concepts and the government procurement process is desired
This position requires very good interpersonal skills, organization skills, and proficiency in all MS Office applications (especially MS Excel). Tableau, SQL and other database systems experience are desired.
Experience within Global Supply Chain
Proficient with Excel (Vlookup, VBA Script, Pivot Tables)/reporting/metrics
Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
Degree discipline in finance, business, communications or other equivalent degree with relevance
6 months of experience within Global supply chain
Tableau, SQL and other database systems are desired
