Supply Chain Planning Analyst

What Will You Do?

You will be communicating and working with vendors frequently! You will be responsible for many complex items, suppliers, some with extreme scheduling and capacity constraints, and quantities that have a very significant financial impact on departments and the organization. You will complete new purchase orders and amend existing purchase orders to maintain enough inventory levels necessary to meet projected sales demands as well as determine appropriate warehouse destination and order quantities.

What Do You Need?

  • Associate Degree in Business or related field, Required

  • 1 year experience in an office environment - Supply Chain experience is a plus!

  • Understanding of furniture manufacturing and distribution processes

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Proficient computer skills with the Microsoft Office Suite

As a Supply Chain Process Improvement Analyst Youth Apprentice, the student will act as an integral member of the Supply Chain Planning and Strategic Sales team, working aside and learning from our team members in an office setting. The student will perform a variety of tasks related to inventory and forecasts. A Youth Apprentice in the Supply Chain Planning department will perform a variety of tasks including but not limited to: * Running Daily Reports and making changes. * Work on data visualizations within software packages IE. Power BI * Assist and develop documentation for training and dashboards * Working with data and wrangling the data to accommodate the required information needed. * Understanding the process of Supply Chain * Understanding the process of Strategic sales * Willingness to learn software or database development.
