We are looking for a Supply Chain Planner to own supply planning and demand forecasting while communicating with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. The Supply Chain Planner manages complex inventory modeling aligned to corporate strategy and KPIs and plans within home-grown tools and advanced Excel models. This role is high-speed, analytical, and immersed in planning and strategy. If you're a Supply Chain Planner who excels at planning within complexity read on!

Responsibilities:

  • Performs material requirements planning and execution in home-grown tools and reporting models, especially advanced Excel models, reporting, and tools

  • Develops a 6-month forecast, incorporating statistical forecast, product demand data, demand history, and inputs from Account Management and other key planning partners. Documents key assumptions, issues, and uncertainty behind forecast. Aggregates data at a SKU/DC-level forecast for supply planning

  • Analyzes factors that impact demand, such as marketing activities, new product introductions, price changes, product discontinuations, account penetration changes, assortment/order plans, etc. and builds a forecast that quantifies the impact of these factors

  • Defines and manages alerts and resolves issues related to inventory positions, including resolution and communication

  • Performs inventory analytics regarding forecasting accuracy and obsolescence excess, and prepares reports to measure supply chain performance against measured KPIs.

  • Act as liaison supporting internal and external partners and customers with product availability information as well as interfacing with Service, Sales, and Marketing to proactively communicate supply and inventory impacts

  • Ensures inventory /procurement decisions are in accordance with established inventory policies and Inventory plan

  • Develop plans for managing NPI/EOL management

  • Other duties as assigned

Must Haves...

  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT

Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required:

  • B.S. in Business or related field; and

Minimum Experience required:

  • 3+ years of related supply chain planning and procurement experience within hardware industries

Skills required:

  • Ability to manage multiple highly complex Excel models including nested "if" statements and macros

  • Possess advanced analytical skills to interpret data and provide recommendations on inventory related strategies to the organization.

  • Able to understand impacts at each stage of an end to end work flow from order processing through deployment and up through reverse logistics

  • Strategic thinker who can quickly realign work processes in accordance with market demands and corporate strategy evolution.

  • Demonstrated success managing inventory, product lifecycles, and multi-inventory metrics.

  • Successful in a fast-paced environment and effectively use problem-solving techniques to highlight risks and opportunities.

  • Team player who works productively with staff and clients at all levels of the organization.
