Job Title: Supply Chain Planner
Position: Permanent

Reporting to: Account Management Division Deputy General Manager
Purpose of the job:
SALES ORDER PROCESSING: to manage the orders of our distributors, liaising with the warehouse, suppliers and other members of the team to ensure their queries are timely looked after and the goods are shipped in line with customers' expectations.
OPERATIONS PLANNING: Demand planning, inventory control and reporting of sales, stock, shipment schedules and KPIs.
PROJECTS: Support the Account management team with implementation of new business/lines of products, and projects to improve the efficiency of the company which might require extensive ERP development.
OTHER DUTIES: Internal/external auditing support, Customs/product classification, item master update, logistics cost reporting, etc.
General Duties
Sales Order Processing for all Mitsubishi Air-conditioning products (Units, accessories, spare parts):
Daily processing of sales orders in our system
Tracing and release of Back Orders in our system
Preparing and supplying the necessary documentation (P/L, Proforma invoices) to our customers
Liaising with customers by phone and/or email answering enquiries in regard to sales orders, stock availability and Orders ETAs
Liaising with the Warehouse staff to resolve logistical issues.
Liaising with our European and Asian suppliers.
Consult with Technical Team (Pre/After sales as appropriate) to support sales.
Release Stock and Control aged back orders on a daily basis to support inventory management
Filing of necessary shipping documentation (POs, Bill of lading. waybills, invoices, credit memos, etc)
Operations Planning
Demand planning for assigned category: Regular update of mid- and long-term forecasts and other parameters that assist on creating purchase orders to vendors.
Ensure we have the right amount of stock to fulfil customer demand without incurring in shortages or generating surplus inventory.
Liaising with vendors to ensure production is on time, assigning priorities when required and keeping customers well informed on shipping schedules of future incomings.
Keep close and fluent communication with the technical team in order to understand the product, its compatibilities with other units and the product life cycle, to better be able to estimate the demand.
Generate internal reports and KPIs to measure the performance of the business.
Day to day monitoring of:
Production schedule
Inbound process
Sales orders and stock reservations
Projects:
Support with new business set up
Support with new lines of products and new customers
Support with new demand planning and replenishment system
OTHER DUTIES
Internal/External audit support
Customs/product classifications
Update of item master in the system
Troubleshooting of ERP system.
Logistic cost benchmarking, Route to market study etc.
Required Skills
Good analytical and numerical skills

Minimum 2 years' experience in demand planning and stock management.

Education:
English and Maths GCSE Grade C or above, or equivalent

Working Hours:
9:00 - 17:00 (1 hour lunch break) to be confirmed
35 hour working week over Monday to Friday
