Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join our Outside Finished Goods Planning team. The successful candidate will have strong communication, analytical, and entrepreneurship skills. Location: This role can be based out of our offices in Atlanta, GA or Green Bay, WI. We operate on a hybrid schedule.

In this individual contributor role, the Supply Chain Planner reports to the VP - Supply Chain, Outsourced Goods.
What You Will Do
Develop 13-week and 18-month supply plans across multiple levels of aggregation for GP PRO Dispenser categories by effectively working with cross-functional capabilities.
Analyze trends and develop forecast recommendations as part of the monthly S&OP process to gain alignment with a cross-functional team over an 18-month horizon.
Identify and communicate supply and demand imbalances in short and long-term outlooks, provide proactive solutions, and implement resolution action plans.
Lead regular meetings with outside vendors, GP External Operations team and category management to share the current and future state of the business and planned purchase orders.
Work collaboratively with Category, External Operations, Customer Solutions, and the Deployment teams to develop a single point of view on service and inventory levels.
Perform root cause data analysis to understand the impact of changes in business metrics.
Manage and optimize settings in SAP planning tools to create efficiencies and improve service levels (including SAP S4, IBP).
Track key demand assumptions and use learnings to drive future points of view.
Manage SKUs to avoid obsolete inventories and to facilitate depletion of inventory for discontinued items.
Create long term value through excellence in execution, advanced capabilities, and processes by demonstrating agility, adaptability and alignment with internal and external customers.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor's Degree OR 2+ years of relevant work experience in a supply or demand planner role
Advanced Microsoft Office experience (creating and modifying spreadsheets and using complex functions, filters, and graphs to analyze and manipulate data)
Experience communicating with all levels of the organization (via presentations, reports, e-mail, verbally, and/or in small/large group settings)
SAP experience
Knowledge or exposure to the S&OP process
What Will Put You Ahead
MBA or bachelor's degree concentration in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Industrial Engineering
Previous experience using SAP S4 and IBP, and/or other supply chain technology tools
Experience in a manufacturing/operations production facility
Experience in Sourcing, External Operations management, or similar Supplier Management responsibilities
Consumer Products industry experience
