As a Supply Chain Planner at BENTELER Automotive, you will play a critical role in optimizing our supply chain processes. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient material flow, cost-effective transportation, and streamlined logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Supply Chain Cost Calculation (Process "Acquire & Quote"):

• Calculate supply chain costs for new projects and products.

• Analyze cost drivers and recommend cost-saving strategies.

• Value Chain Optimization (Processes "Develop & Launch" and "Make & Deliver"):

• Develop and implement detailed concepts across the entire value chain.

• Continuously optimize processes to enhance efficiency (K2 and K3).

• Process Mapping and Cost Analysis:

• Evaluate costs related to transport, containers, warehousing, and inventory capital commitment.

• Identify bottlenecks and propose countermeasures.

• Layout Planning and Lean Material Flow:

• Design layout plans to ensure lean material flow within our facilities.

• Implement lean principles such as Kanban, internal milk runs, and supermarkets.

• Material Supply and Quotation Preparation:

• Support urgent planning requests from plants and customer lines.

• Prepare supply chain data and quotation documents for negotiations with service providers.

• Container Regulations and Packaging Optimization:

• Define standard regulations for containers.

• Optimize packaging processes at JIS and components plants.

• Transportation Support and Data Management:

• Assist with urgent transportation requests.

• Prepare transportation data and negotiate with transport service providers.

• Monitor transport rate developments and maintain data integrity in the Transportation Management System.

• General Support:

• Collaborate with the direct supervisor and provide assistance as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in supply chain planning or related roles.

• Proficiency in transportation management systems and planning tools.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
