This newly created position is responsible for overseeing Supply Chain Operations through collaboration with senior leadership and department executives. This person will collaborate heavily with cross functional stakeholders, including Accounting, Finance, and Compliance to establish best in class procurement/supplier management processes.

In this role, the successful candidate will focus on delivering our major programs and have experience in ERP transition, as well as an understanding of market standard practices associated with Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash. A strong candidate will be able to gather business and technical requirements and develop cross functional program plans to deliver high value solutions. This person will be expected to manage a team, set and execute a project plan, chair associated governance meetings, develop cohesion between teams, solve problems and escalate as required. This role will report to the Head of Central Supply Chain and Strategic Business Development.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing daily Supply Chain operations through collaboration with senior management and department leaders, generating correspondence, and planning and coordinating leadership meetings

  • Supporting preparation and facilitating Lyft Supply Chain Quarterly Business Reviews

  • Collaborating with Accounts Payable, Accounting, Finance, Compliance, Legal, Supply Chain leaders and other stakeholders to identify and implement end-to-end procurement/supplier management process improvements

  • Assisting in the design and enhancement of company-wide policies and standard procedures to facilitate efficient and effective procurement activities and systems

  • Driving programs that ensure adherence to company policies that apply to the Procure-to-Pay process, including education/training, compliance monitoring, and reporting activities, and Travel policies

  • Co-developing department budget plans in partnership with leadership and FP&A

  • Providing leadership on strategic projects in partnership with IT and Procurement Subject Matter Experts

  • Building and maintaining reporting dashboards, metrics and KPIs to analyze data and proactively surface issues, suggestions and inferences

  • Reviewing and approve the Procurement Standard Operating Procedures

  • Updating and maintaining the Procurement internal website and content library

  • Supporting remediation plans and executive reporting for audit findings and controls

Experience:

  • 5+ years of industry experience working in Strategic and Procurement Operations

  • Has been a business owner for assigned categories, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact category and our business

  • Built and maintained (partnering) effective working relationship with assigned business area

  • Independent self-starter with high degree of confidence and business acumen

  • Solid team player; can work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment

  • Strong consultative, analytical, and problem solving skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills

  • Self motivated, reliable, passionate, and can keep to deadlines

  • Multiple category experience is a plus

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, finance, business administration, related discipline or relevant work experience. MBA or other advanced degree is a plus

  • SPSM, CPSM, or CTPE Certification is a plus

  • Experience with Oracle is a plus

  • Experience with implementing Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash processes

The Director- Clinical Supply Chain will lead, manage and shape the vision of the clinical supply chain group by providing guidance and direction to the team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Review, maintain and implement required Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), business processes and systems needed to ensure effective operations * Leads department in establishing and executing clinical supply strategy for global clinical studies across GBT products lifecycle * Responsible for integrated forecasting and planning and supply strategies for the clinical supply chain. Perform modeling and scenario planning for short, medium and long-term range horizons. Integration with overall production planning process for GBT products * Oversee vendor activities related to packaging, labeling and distribution for GBT multinational clinical studies. Manage supply related areas related to IRT/IWRS systems and processes, including User Requirements (URS), User Acceptance Test (UAT) * Ensure global distribution and logistics processes are in place (Import/Export) for clinical supplies * Responsible for clinical labeling processes in compliance with applicable regulations, including processes around blinding, randomization, packaging design * Manage clinical supply inventory, expiry dates and inventory availability. Manage Jurisdictional Control process for clinical supplies * Develop, maintain and publish relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) * Financial oversight of the clinical packaging and labeling vendors. Negotiates and evaluate costs and responsible for financial budgeting for clinical studies * Key contributor in Study Execution Teams (SET), Clinical Strategy Team (CST), and related CMC and organizational meetings.
