  • Manage standard and routine data in software systems and applications.

  • Update logs, documents and files to track operational, carrier and customer information.

  • Receive and review documents for accuracy, such as dates, times, location, counts and related information.

  • Respond to basic internal and external customer questions on the status of operations, accounts or services; escalates more complex needs as required.

  • Print and prepare forms, labels, billing, invoices and related documents to ensure timely processing.

  • Assist with tracking orders and information through systems, vendors and related sources, such as arrival, times, confirmation and similar details.

  • Perform basic office and clerical duties, such as preparing and sorting mail, maintaining logs, answering and directing phone calls and related activities.


  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED. Prior office experience preferred.

  • Skills:
    Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet, web-based and job specific software applications. Capable of performing data entry.

  • Characteristics: Knowledgeable of basic customer service principles and practices and office operations.

    Ability to verify information and status. Ability to communicate with co-workers to provide and receive direction.

Responsible for leading and supporting transformation projects for the East Supply Chain. Manager Supply Chain is a member of the East Business Unit Supply Chain Transformation team and works cross functionally with East BU, BBU and GB teams to implement highly complex projects. Key Job Responsibilities: * Lead specific elements of the productivity agenda for the East Supply Chain including projects such as facility startup/commissioning and shutdown, transportation optimization, new market initiatives, and process improvement. * Work with Supply Chain Technology, Commercial, Real Estate, Engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute Capital Projects * Serve as liaison with finance team for project management and justification.Coordinate ongoing weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial performance for the region. * Development of project plans, budgets and Capital requests. * Work with East BU team members to build implementation plans for complex projects. * Request for proposal development and subsequent vendor selection. * Vendor/Construction management including change control. * Installation including troubleshooting and training. * Partner with BU Distribution and Manufacturing Leadership to plan and implement safety, service and cost programs that deliver world class results * Work as a member of the East Supply Chain team leading and optimizing East DC's and integrating software and hardware through the Supply Chain * Partner with Transport managers and 3PLs to reduce complexities and cost while increasing service levels in the transportation network * Help support service infrastructure in East DC foot print that will enable growth/freshness/unsold deliverables and help break down silos across the new East organization * Work with Dir Sourcing, Plant Managers, and S&OP team to optimize production and co-packer execution * Support Supply Chain Leadership Structure that continues to develop self-sufficient teams that embrace change through associate engagement and continuous improvement initiatives Job Requirements Key Behavioral Competencies: * Ability to build strong business relationships and collaborate cross-functionally. * Ability to lead and coach special projects while meeting specific timelines and objectives. * Ability to establish objectives, ownership of work, and accountability for results. * Ability to comprehend and communicate complex information effectively to gain alignment. * Ability to make strategic business decisions impacting short and long term. * Ability to manage and influence P&L results. * Ability to cultivate talent through coaching. Education and Work History: * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or related field. * At least 7 years of related and varied experience in both managing supply chain and/or manufacturing operations, and project management * A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted (under education and experience) * Experience developing and implementing complex solutions * Completing cost/P&L analyses * Preparing business cases; applying activity-based costing as well as cost allocation methodologies; using output from statistical, simulation, and optimization tools * Leading cross functional projects including alignment of stakeholders, applying common project management tools, and managing outside suppliers. * Facilitating problem solving using variety of methodologies * Applying methodologies to understand, anticipate, mitigate risk * Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization. * Experience using tools and software such as MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc. * Ability to travel, visit facilities/sales centers/distribution centers within the business unit. * Strong analytic skills with attention to detail. * Must be able to plan & accomplish goals with limited supervision. * The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
