Our team oversees the successful movement of products from our vendors to our stores and is self-motivated, passionate, and dedicated.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Senior Director- Supply Chain Strategy & Capabilities, the Supply Chain Network Design Engineer is responsible for leading projects focused on optimizing the supply chain network, analyzing model output, and making recommendations to optimize our existing and future network capabilities. As part of this role, you will be responsible for understanding the corporate long-range strategy, coordinating the collection of critical data from cross functional partners, optimizing the existing supply chain model, and proposing recommendations for long range plans. This position will be the primary technical expert in charge of supply chain optimization tools.

This role is highly cross functional, building effective partnership and strong communication are key for success in this role with both internal and external partners. Attention to detail, and strong ability to define and adapt to various "what if" scenarios. This role will support an aggressive supply chain expansion strategy for a large, fast growing unique grocery model.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborate across the organization, to identify and leverage key data inputs to drive capability needs and solutions to stay ahead.

  • Drive organizational efficiency and excellence.

  • Responsible for conducting assessments of the current supply chain processes, systems, and operations, with a particular focus on utilizing optimization tools to identify opportunities for improvement. You will analyze vast amounts of supply chain data to gain insights into the areas where the supply chain can be optimized.

  • Demonstrate a strong ability to collect and manipulate input data, which can consist of hundreds of thousands or even millions of lines of information from various sources. This involves retrieving and organizing the data, ensuring it's accuracy, and manipulating it to extract the relevant insights needed for supply chain optimization projects.

  • Own scenario modeling initiatives that involve the purchasing of additional capital or storage space for long-term needs.

  • Identify infrastructure required to support business plans and develop capital investment plans.

  • Develop, communicate, and coordinate network contingency plans and capacity augmentations.

  • Leverage strong communication skills to tell compelling stories involving complex data sets, critical financial considerations, and benefits, and draw out insights that will lead to informed decisions.

  • Support the implementation of the required recommendations, monitor initiative progress, and measure results to ensure key deliverables are met and communicated to senior leadership and executive level audiences.

About the Pay:

  • Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000

  • Final compensation will be determined based upon experience and skills and may vary based on location.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering/ Supply Chain/ Logistics or Data Science.

  • Experience in leading Supply Chain projects and utilizing optimization software and tools.

  • Excellent cross-functional experience and business know-how of supply chain operations

  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills; ability to root-cause problems and quickly articulate creative, practical solutions.

  • Analyze various "what-if" supply chain scenarios to prepare a cost/benefit analysis of proposed change, demonstrating agility and sensitivity testing across proposed outcomes.

  • Ability to influence at all levels in the organization; ability to drive change, meet deadlines and inspire confidence among senior leadership.

  • Experience driving performance improvements and change within a complex, dynamic, high volume supply chain operation.

  • Highly effective time management skills: ability to manage competing priorities and ambiguous situations effectively.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work across functions at all organizational levels.
