Job Description

Provide functional leadership to Region MEM Teams with the immediate goal of Achieving Service Excellence by improving the MEM Scorecard measures of Customer Service, Productivity, Process, and Cost. Develop strategic annual operating plan objectives and tools to facilitate execution in the field. Developing field managers through Coaching for Service Excellence platforms to improve performance and exceed customer expectations.

The Director MEM Field Operations is responsible for managing an Operating budget of $20 25MM and leads a large and complex field organization This team is accountable to move, service and install a wide variety of marketing equipment across retail and foodservice customers.

Major Task Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

  • Creates & implements process improvements across the Region to support equipment move and equipment repair.

  • Ensures customer service focus of MEM team based on broad customer/sales knowledge and experience

  • Anticipates technical/mechanical problems encountered in MEM operations and sources support resources to close gaps to standard

  • Serves as an expert resource to others in the use and interpretation of MEM systems information, inclusive of problem solving analysis of National Scorecard and Standard reporting data

  • Serves as resource to others on MEM operations & competitor capabilities in order to meet Region & organizational objectives

  • Interaction within the Pepsi organization will include Region VP's and the Region Team, VP's, Sr. Directors, for both Retail and Foodservice and HQ functional teams

  • The Field Director will interact with Sr Customer Sales and Operations personnel, Suppliers and neighboring Franchise Bottlers

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management

  • 10-15 years' experience within beverage industry, including a proven track record in People Management, Equipment Service Management

  • Ideal candidate would have previous Operations Management experience with strong negotiation and presentation skills

  • Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, influencing and follow up skills

  • Proven experience in leading and influencing cross-functional teams

  • Ability to manage a large team delivering high quality customer service performance while managing costs to within plan

  • Strong PC skills including intermediate/advanced Excel
