They are immediately needing an interim Inventory Controls Manager to lead to following task: Responsibilities:
? ? Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices as designed by Inventory Control Fulfillment and Finance organizations. ? Initiate, coordinate and enforce SOP, operational and personnel policies, to maintain high standards in inventory tracking and control. ? Safeguard warehouse operations by establishing and monitoring security, and integrity of inventory control and loss prevention procedures. ? Conduct and direct physical inventory counts, and scheduled cycle count activities to ensure integrity and accuracy. ? Maintain quality control team by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training new employees before admission to workforce. ? Schedule and assign employees to complete warehouse operational requirements and follow up on work results and performance within your functional team. ? Report KPI?s and operational results surrounding inventory quality controls to Warehouse and Operational Management, and Finance. Prefer: ? Inventory Control experience and Managerial reporting in warehouse setting. ? Supply Chain experience and understanding of financial controls over inventory. ? Bachelor?s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Accounting/Inventory or related field ? 7+ years? experience in inventory, fulfillment, distribution and operational procedures. ? Oracle Inventory, WIP and Warehouse experience required (R12 or equivalent). ? Proven track record related to process improvement and implementation of inventory controls. ? Proven leadership skills and minimum 4+ years of management experience leading a team with the ability to inspire and influencing both direct reports, peers and executive leadership.
