What You Will Be Doing

  • Work directly with Demand Planning team on forecast concerns and question to improve supply targets based on market demand changes and trends

  • Work directly with Contract Manufacturing and Suppliers to ensure supply targets are maintained

  • Actively participate with Contract Manufacturing, NPI and Project Managers towards new product development and transition

  • Proactively facilitate and recommended re-engineering, best practices & consensus between functional areas (Supply Chain, Sales/Marketing, Operations, Finance and IT).

  • Strong understanding of Supply planning, forecasting techniques, and operational systems

  • Supports operations with supply chain related issues and communicates changes in advance

  • Works with the IT Department in researching NetSuite MRP, Planning Tool issues

  • Review, develop, and update process documentation to reflect new and changed processes

  • Manage performance expectations with Contract Manufacturing, suppliers

  • Lead daily operations meeting with Contract Manufacturing to coordinate supply chain execution activities

  • Develop Contract Manufacturing, Supplier relationships and help resolve any issues on a global level

  • Good knowledge of Sales Orders, Purchase Orders Process

  • Proactively resolves issues to help drive long term resolution for various Operational inefficiencies within the Supply Chain

  • Supply Chain Planning Tool Super User

What You Bring To The Team

  • A good team player to bring change to the complex organization

  • Experience with Contract Manufacturing planning, experiences with supply chain functionality and good understanding of Demand Supply for fast pace enterprise storage product line

  • Strong Analytical capability in identifying demand & Supply trends, seasonality impact and promotional impact

  • Good knowledge with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and good experience using ERP, Planning tools

  • Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively within all levels of the organization

  • BA/BS Degree or its equivalent in relevant area Supply Chain/Manufacturing Operations, Business, Economics, Engineering, etc

  • Must be willing and able to work in an open office, team environment.

Main responsibility will be to provide hands-on leadership to subordinates, and directing the team members to meet organizational goals. Provide instruction and training to subordinates, as well as establish procedures and schedules. Additionally, position will be responsible for making sure that all problems that emerge are quickly and efficiently resolved. Supervisor will need to ensure that all procedures, processes, and activities related to the supply chain are performed to ECH standards, and they must develop suggestions on how to improve them. Other tasks performed by supply chain supervisors include making sure all safety procedures are followed and that all work areas are clean and well-maintained daily. Supply Chain Supervisor Tasks * Obtain, analyze and interpret supply chain relevant data. * Par analysis and inventory levels. * Use analysis results to improve supply chain processes, performance and to reduce costs. * Perform analyses with this data using analytical models and mathematical analysis. * Help team understand performance targets and goals. * Ensure that workers are properly trained for their specific roles. * Scheduling work hours and shifts. * Coordinating job rotation and cross-training. * Providing real-time feedback on worker performance. * Identifying and resolving workplace problems, including tardiness and/or absenteeism. * Providing reports and activity updates to management. * Assisting in hiring and firing activities, although the supervisor will require managerial approval of all new hires or terminations. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree is preferred 2. Five years of hospital supply-chain experience 3. Proven leadership skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences 4. Proficient with basic computer software 5.
