Your responsibilitiesthyssenkrupp Elevator is currently seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Atlanta, GA for the Business Unit Americas (North and South America).thyssenkrupp Elevator is currently seeking a Supply Chain Management Specialist for the Business Unit Americas (North and South America).The SCM Specialist is developing, implementing and managing standardization programs for indirect spend within the branches and corporate offices in North America (USA and Canada). He/She is analyzing indirect spend data, identifying improvement areas and potential suppliers, create RFI's, RFQ's, perform negotiations, run e.Auctions, manage the programs on a daily basis as well as manage and develop the suppliers. He/She is working closely with our branches, suppliers, cross functional partners, our regional headquarter in Chicago as well as cluster manager. He/She is also responsible for implementing the US Field measures of the World Class procurement screening and standardizing PSM documents as well as transfer Best Practices within BU AMS.

  • Analyze, improve and manage assigned spend categories

  • Analyze and stay current on market trends

  • Develop and run RFI's and RFQ's

  • Perform supplier negotiations

  • Utilize e.Auction tool (reverse auction tool) to support organizational goals and objectives

  • Manage the contract execution with the sourcing partner and all of our local offices

  • Supplier Management for assigned spend categories

  • Work close and independent with the branches and the supplier to resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against supplier

  • Drive department internal improvements and standardization by implementing findings of the regular World Class Procurement Screening (performed by our German headquarter)

  • Standardize PSM documents within BU AMS and transfer Best Practices within BU AMS

  • Regular MWBE reporting as well as small business reporting

  • Responsible spend categories are for example: Facility Management, Office Supplies (incl. furniture), Janitorial, Travel Coffee/Water, Shredding, Uniforms, Prints, Postage and Copiers

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in related fields (i.e. Supply Chain Management or Business)

  • 3 years or more of procurement or program management experience

  • Experience in sourcing, negotiation and securing supplier agreements

  • Analytical experiences as well as in summarizing an presenting analysis results

  • Oracle and/or SAP experiences beneficial

  • Experiences in identifying cost reduction opportunities

  • Ability to understand, engage and implement process optimizations

  • MS office experience (mainly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access)

  • Less than 30% travel
