Lockheed Martin's Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Global Supply Chain team is looking for a passionate, detail-oriented problem-solver to add to its Program Execution team. As a Subcontract Manager (SCM), it will be your responsibility to facilitate the procurement cycle from beginning to end.

The selected candidate will serve as the primary liaison between Lockheed Martin and our suppliers, communicating customer concerns, expediting delivery schedules, and tracking engineering revisions and material needs.

As an SCM, you will have authority to purchase material on LM's behalf, with occasional expectation to place orders within short lead time. During procurement, you will be the primary LM representativeissuing solicitations, negotiating contract requirements, and managing supplier performance. You will regularly report supply chain metrics, risks, and strategic opportunities to senior-level internal customers. In addition, this position will offer the selected candidate opportunities for travel, personal development, a comprehensive benefits package and flexible work schedule.

Associate to support the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Program within the Supply Chain Management organization. The position will support the procurement and management of the direct material requirements in support of the THAAD program. Job responsibilities include the development and maintenance of metrics, the pursuit of deliveries from suppliers, and assistance in the negotiation of subcontracts.

This position will be responsible to drive mitigation activities across the THAAD Program Supply Chain. The position is to organize and execute activities between Global Supply Chain and Production Operations for the THAAD program. Duties include:

Manage all material requirements, attend shortage meetings and assist the team and program with any supplier related issues.

Interface with the site's Leadership Team and all other departments including Engineering, Quality, Production Operations and PP&C for resource planning.

Effectively communicate with Program Supply Chain and various customers.

Travel will be required.

Basic Qualifications:

Ability to lead projects & teams to execute Supply Chain subcontracts and sourcing activities in an executing capacity as a Purchasing agent/Buyer/Subcontract Administrator/Manager

Previous experience implementing change to improve processes

Ability to make strategic decisions while delivering results

Previous experience preparing and delivering presentations

Ability to obtain a US Security clearance

Ability to travel

Desired Skills:

Working knowledge of SAP and/or Procure to Pay (P2P)

Working knowledge of Procurement processes including Lockheed Martin Material Acquisition Procedures and FAR

Ability to multi-task

Strong communication skills

Comfortable working in a team environment

As a SCMM Compliance Specialist at Aerojet Rocketdyne, you will be responsible for understanding the broad range of issues encountered by the SCMM center of excellence that includes subcontracting, logistics, and property. Compliance effort is conducted in a dynamic, fast paced, deadline driven environment in the highly regulated government contracting and subcontract field. This position will be located at our Camden AR office and may be filled at this level or one level higher. Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each) 40% - Carries out broad and complex assignments in the analysis of complex SCMM issues with minimal supervision. This responsibility includes an in-depth review of government and non-government supply chain issues, evaluation of government regulations in coordination with legal and other company specialists, recommendation of policy or process improvements, writing or revising policies and procedures, developing/updating training on related topics of government procurement. 20% - Conducts purchase order reviews for compliance with Government regulations, Aerojet Rocketdyne (AR) policies and procedures and sound business practices. Develops tools and job-aids for use by buyers to aid in compliance; evaluates automated systems for process improvements and implementation of policy guidance.20% - Reviews customer contracts and prepares contract flowdown documentation to be incorporated into RFQs and purchase orders to be issued to suppliers; coordinates with Contracts, Legal and other subject matter experts to resolve issues related to ensuring accurate flowdown of customer contractual requirements; and maintains internal records of customer contract requirements for use as references by other staff (i.e., Contract Summary spreadsheet and/or Procurement Briefs) 10% - When necessary, provide support of internal and external audits.10% - Mentors and/or assists in training buyers in subjects related to SCMM areas of responsibility and government contracting and procurement compliance. Requirements Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and ten (10) years of directly related experience OR a Master's degree with eight (8) years of experience.Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. US Citizenship required. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
