The Operations team continues to grow and aims to strengthen the connection of Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain and Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) across Collins Aerospace. In this dynamic environment , you will have the opportunity to network across our businesses and functions, all while improving the productivity, quality and efficiency of our operations worldwide.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support long-term agreement negotiations with the central United Technologies Aerospace Systems organization.

  • Provide support to business unit location needs and ensure alignment with the strategic sourcing review board; supporting the development of suppliers and commodity strategies.

  • Ensure alignment with business unite make/buy strategy.

  • Address systemic and critical supply issues (in concert with supplier performance team), including for repairs associated with production long-term agreements.

  • Drive cost savings projects. Participate in executing Supply Chain projects using UTAS Stage gate process

  • Support new product introduction purchase order placement, sourcing decisions, achievement of targeted cost.

  • Supports cost summits, reports on payables, coordinates setting of standard costs and PPV analysis.

  • Supports standards exercise (cost analyst).

  • Completes inventory analysis, slide deck presentations, supplier health assessments for critical and key suppliers, supply chain metrics for specified commodities, customer specific reporting, cost and project tracking and drives for consistency in data reporting.

Education / Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

Basic Qualifications:

  • Project management experience managing complex projects across multiple functional groups required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aerospace and military supply chain management experience, in an AS9100 and ISO9000 environment

  • Commodity Management experience in Electronics and Machining

  • Supply Chain, Business or Engineering degree

Experience/Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: * Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from an accredited institution. * Must have GPA of 3.0 or higher * Must have completed 30 hours of college coursework Preferred Qualifications: * Excellent MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project). * Quick learner with the aptitude to learn more and drive change. * Organized and self-motivated. * Summer internship is a plus. * Course work in Business Administration, Finance or Management.
