Mitsubishi Electric Trane US, Inc. has an excellent opportunity for a Supply Chain Logistics Analyst.
METUS is currently seeking an organized and experienced OSHA certified analyst to become the subject matter expert and leader on best practices in a distribution and logistics organization. The analyst will lead all efforts relating to the design, implementation, execution, and follow-up for all employee training related needs, SOPs, and ensuring that set standards are in place and compliance continues to be met. The position will be responsible for creating and maintaining various metrics, scorecards, and continuous improvement processes for all METUS current and future warehouses.
The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
Develop, design and create, document, and train on proven best practices for distribution and logistics processes
Create an overall training strategy that ties to improvement of culture, performance and engagement including but not limited to creating visual and written training material, including SOPs, to be used actively and referentially
Establish and take ownership of compliance standards for trained employees
Implement and create actionable takeaways from KPIsin order to measure success of projects and rapid experiments
Ability to travel between METUS distribution centers in order to create a consistent setup/process across all locations
Identify the current-and future business needs to support the company's growth plan and expansion of warehouse footprint
Utilize MS Office tools in order to perform analytical functions and create detailed and/or high level presentation outputs
Creating video training modules for all current and future warehouse lift drivers and supervisors
Become proficient in SAP and other reporting tools in order to be self-sufficient in data-mining and analysis
Create detailed process flow charts that identify steps and actions from start to finish
Perform technical writing job functions
Willingness to learn and improve upon new skills and processes while performing job duties
Own and develop relationship with internal and external groups in order to obtain necessary data and business information
Facilitating and presenting requirements amongst multiple stakeholders
Contributing to design sessions to improve processes or create new ones
Communicate key insights and findings to team and various organizations
Ensures the quality of work output by displaying a keen attention to detail
Present and integrate findings in easily understood ways for all levels of the supply chain organization
Bachelor's degree preferred
3-5 years' experience OSHA certification preferred
3-5 years' experience in warehouse clamp/forklift training preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing
Proficiency in MS Office Applications including Visio and Projects; VBA is a plus
SAP experience is a plus
Efficient in utilizing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and visualizations
Flexibility to work day or night shift as needed by manager
Flexibility to travel across all METUS warehouse locations (up to 15-25% travel)
