POSITION SUMMARY
Internship is on-the-job training similar to an apprenticeship. Interns are college students seeking skills for, or evaluating a career. A student internship provides opportunities for students to gain experience in a field, determine if they have an interest in a particular career, create a network of contacts and potentially earn school credit. Internships may be part-time or full-time and generally last 6 - 12 weeks. The duration can be shorter or longer based on the amount of work available.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform in cleanroom facility working in the various functions of all departments while establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff to develop and coordinate programs; compile and maintain records; understand and carry out oral and written directions; and aid in the effective production of product. These may include but are not limited to:
Supporting and working closely with the Manufacturing Buyer and Accounting team.
Cycle Counting
ABC Inventory labeling
Purchase Orders
Reconciling Inserts and consumable inventory and receiving
Projects supporting Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives
Projects supporting corrective action and preventive action plans, execution and reporting
Other duties as assigned.
