Position Summary

Samsung's business strategy requires a world class supply chain that nimbly supports fast-changing consumer behavior and business growth goals. Achieving these ambitious goals often requires significant changes to existing organizations, processes, and systems. To that end, this candidate will lead the development and implementation of Samsung's Supply Chain Strategy and its operational execution. The role will be measured on strategy creation and execution, but more importantly, tangible P&L, balance sheet, and companywide metric impacting results from the above.

The role will solidify the supply chain strategy team's influence and engagement with senior level leaders of key product categories, customers, and service providers. This person will be working with a team of supply chain strategy professionals to accomplish these goals.

We are seeking someone who will challenge the status quo in search of new processes, ideas, technology to deliver on growth and improve competitive position.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Secure cross functional resources for large scale improvement programs

  • Work with cross functional teams including colleagues, stake-holders and senior management

  • Provide strategic supply chain direction to SEA leadership

  • Analyze P&L impacts of strategic customer projects, presenting findings to the CFO and CEO

  • Use supply chain offerings to change the conversation with customers from transactional to strategic

  • Perform project and concept sales pitches to the customer on behalf of customer account teams

  • Innovate internal company processes via improvement projects through evaluation of current work processes and identification of improvement strategies

  • Perform As-Is analyses, Gap analyses, To-Be process design, benchmarking, and similar re-engineering analysis

  • Analyze and report financial and operating data to management

  • Convince customers to operate with more transparency, openly sharing sensitive data

  • Guide a team to solve complex internal and customer supply chain problems

Skills and Qualifications

  • 12-15 years' experience in fields such as strategy, consulting, supply chain analysis/optimization

  • 5+ Years' Managerial (Team Leadership) Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus

  • In depth knowledge of retail, consumer electronics, Home appliances and/or wireless is a plus

  • Strong financial acumen, and P&L Management a plus

  • Experience in leading indirect cross functional resources in a matrix organization

  • Ability to make decisions, to give direction, and to measure individual/team performance

  • Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally to resolve issues and generate results

  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with all levels of the organization, specifically the ability to create and tell a story with supporting facts and figures within PowerPoint

  • Experience leveraging market and industry insights to develop a vison and execution strategy

  • Strong project management, analytical and interpersonal skills required

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment to achieve team goals and complete assignments within established deadlines

  • Expert command of MS Office products required (primarily Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Ability to cultivate strong collaborative working relationships and contacts within work group, across other company functions and with external organizations

  • Proven ability to influence others and drive meaningful change results

  • Ability to gather and analyze data from multiple sources, prepare spreadsheets, charts, graphs and tables of information and to plan and prioritize multiple work assignments

  • Work under limited supervision and guidance to identify and ensure achievement of team goals and to complete individual work assignments within established time frames

  • Travel from 10% to up to 25%

VIEW JOBS 10/8/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-06T00:00 Auto req ID: 162225BR Job Description PepsiCo, the industry leader in Beverages, has an opening for a Fleet Service Specialist to provide leadership and tactical execution of the fleet operations including but not limited to the coordination of vendor maintenance repairs, breakdown resolution, and record management to help the Fleet Team reach its World Class Goals. The PepsiCo fleet is one of the top ten largest private fleets with equipment ranging from Light Duty and material handling equipment to Heavy Duty tractors and trailers. The nature of the work is proactive and must be able to alert key stakeholders quickly. Key partnerships with sales, warehouse, transport, and MEM teams are critical to provide high level of fleet service. This role is responsible for securing vendor maintenance and repair on company owned assets, manage warranty/campaign work orders, coordinate the rental process, while managing communication and cost tradeoffs. Accountabilities: * Coordination of vendor maintenance on company owned assets including MHE, light duty, medium duty, and heavy duty equipment * Lead the Pre-Approval process of all outside vendor repairs in accordance with the Asset Life Cycle protocols * Partners with and supports fleet technician and fleet managers in maintaining a reliable, safe fleet according to PepsiCo standards * Resolution of breakdowns including the coordination of the repair and communication to key stakeholders * Align with fleet and key stakeholders for rental needs and coordinate rentals process * Accounts Payable compliance in accordance with SAG/SOX guidelines * Proactive delivery tracking and customer alerts for known anticipated vendor performance gaps * Establish and maintain vendor partnerships to ensure quality and reliable work * Resolve any customer or vendor inquiries in a professional and efficient manner * Collaborate and maintain high levels of communication with all stakeholders (Logistics, Sales, Warehouse, Fleet) * Communicate repairs to key stakeholders and records maintenance record in maintenance management system * Maintain various Fleet performance tracking documents including but not limited to PM Report, Weekly Cost Management Report, Vendor Pricing List * Identifies trends and recommends corrective action measures when needed * Additional duties as assigned by Manager Qualifications/Requirements * High School diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelors preferred * Knowledge of mechanical work and ability to balance repair time, costs, and business needs * Superb organizational, communication, and analytical skills * Ability to effectively communicate with suppliers and key stakeholders in a professional and constructive manner * Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills in order to formulate effective action plans to deal with issues proactively * Collaborate with peers to balance daily workloads and support the business * Willingness to embrace change and all other assigned duties for the greater good of the team * Produce/review various performance reports to drive results * Strong attention to detail * Flexible and able to work under pressure to balance competing priorities with strong organizational skills. Able to manage several tasks simultaneously * Proactively work to organize, respond to needs and anticipate what is needed by the individuals for whom she/he supports * Resolve vendor maintenance billing issues.
