Team Mission Statement: The Financial Planning & Analysis Lead role will have primary responsibilities to support the execution of the World Wide Supply Chain (WWSC) Business Analytics roadmap. Overall, this position is responsible for developing and creating tools, processes and analytics that drive value added business decisions. Key activities include developing supplier management, risk management and end to end supply chain tools including building dashboards, metrics and processes. The scope includes supporting strategic sourcing of components, commodities and transportation sourcing for both North America and international suppliers. This role will work closely with sourcing, business units, finance, IT and other cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and on budget.
Performs advanced analytics for WWSC and special projects.
Develops tools and processes to support the WWSC and cross-functional business units
Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports that drive value added business decisions
Identifies trends, reports metrics and presents findings to senior management.
Drives continuous improvement projects
Conducts or participates in the complex analytics projects.
Communicates to all levels of the organization including senior management
Bachelors degree in business or related area
Successful track record with clear demonstration of results
Travel as needed
Working knowledge of system applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) or similar applications
High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Experience in data mining and reporting analytics skills
Solid skills in developing documentation such as business and technical requirements
End-to-End Supply Chain, Advanced Analytics, & Problem Solving Acumen
Hands-on experience performing data mining, manipulating large-scale data, and visualizing data (e.g., Qlik, Tableau)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good planning/project management skills able to develop comprehensive workable issue sets in complex situations
Comfortable with conflict willingness to challenge conventional thinking
Able to work with minimal supervision
Strong customer service and relational skills
Ability to talk to all levels of the organization
