Manage financial functions of Edgerton distribution facility, including financial planning, ERP and WMS systems, inventory management, capital, and costing. Serve as business partner to Edgerton management, taking active role in solutions. Provide ongoing reporting and analysis to local and corporate staff supporting financial targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Develop and track operational reporting metrics that translate into actionable business plans. Analyze financial results and provide insight to business partners. Review variances with supply chain team to understand root causes and implement corrective action.

  • Inventory: Manage inventory controls and accuracy with adherence to meaningful transactional movement types through ERP system. Serve as business partner to identify deficiencies in EWM methodologies for FIFO and drive improvements to minimize E&O risk.

  • Financial Accounting: Financial functions and reporting of the distribution facility, including cost recognition consistent with GAAP, inventory valuation, and accuracy of standard costs plus underlying data. Support monthly close schedule and meaningful variance analysis. Responsible for adherence to company and SOX policies.

  • Business Leadership: Promote strong project management practices supporting capital execution and continuous improvement initiatives. Evaluate opportunities and make recommendations for new projects to fuel growth.

  • Annual Planning & Forecasting: Facilitate AOP and forecast process for distribution centers, including operating budget and performance targets. Drive accountability to deliver financial plan. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to forecast and communicate to leadership.

  • Coaching and Development: Implement and manage practices that ensure an environment of accountability. Provide necessary training and guidance regarding financial and accounting concepts to better enable supply chain team to evaluate and act upon reported information.

Education / Experience

Requirements:
  • BA in Accounting or Business Administration

  • 5+ years of financial experience in manufacturing or distribution location

  • Must have hands-on working experience with a standard costs financial system and possess analytical, problem solving, and effective communication skill with all levels.

  • Experience working with SAP and EWM preferred
