Our Supply Chain and Logistics team mission is to provide top notch service to our stores and purchasing teams, contributing to the goal to make Grocery Outlet the first choice for bargain minded customers while touching lives for the better. Our team oversees the successful movement of products from our vendors to our stores and is self-motivated, passionate, and dedicated.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Senior Director- Supply Chain Strategy & Capabilities, the Supply Chain Systems Integration Engineer is responsible for a variety of tasks including managing enterprise-level projects, integrating supply chain systems into the company's enterprise systems infrastructure, and cultivating new business prospects. In addition, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, assessing ongoing projects, and providing feedback to the team. As a Supply Chain Systems Integration Engineer, you will contribute to the strategic design process to identify more integration opportunities. You are also responsible for reviewing integration plans, reports, and test procedures.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage software integration of master product into client-based systems (TMS, One Network, SAP, WMS & WCS).

  • Manages the project schedule using the recommended project management tools and processes to drive completion within the agreed timeline.

  • Manages a list of project deliverables (scope) using the recommended project management tools and processes to ensure that the project includes all the work required and only the work required to complete the project successfully.

  • Project Issue and Risk Management

  • Manages the process to identify, assess and prioritize issues and risks using recommended tools and processes to minimize, monitor, and control the probability and/or impact of negative events or to maximize the realization of positive events.

  • Builds strong customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions.
  • Works with business technology architects, both internal & external partners and develops business requirements to ensure synchronized development of integrate and testable requirements.

  • Deliver technical solutions to administration utilizing ETL, data integration, etc.

  • Identify opportunities for technology refresh and retirement, infrastructure optimization, and consolidation of technical infrastructure.

  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to streamline procedures, eliminate obstacles, and expedite day-to-day logistics and supply operations.

  • Develop a change management program to minimize risks related to unplanned outages.

  • Establish policy and procedure on security and safety management, infrastructure management, system management, crisis management and emergency preparedness.

About the Pay:

  • Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000

  • Final compensation will be determined based upon experience and skills and may vary based on location.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering/Supply Chain or related work experience, preferably in a technical discipline (e.g., IT Engineering, Computer Science, Data Engineering/Science /Analytics etc

  • 3+ years of supply chain experience, or equivalent.

  • Ability to work cross functionally across internal & external vendor teams, knowledge of WCS/WMS integration and long term service level management.

  • Ability to manage vendors, drive accountability to service agreements and facilitate quarterly business reviews.

  • Capable of identifying areas to drive efficiency and operational effectiveness and ability to identify and communicate potential operational or analytical concerns.

  • In-depth knowledge of IT/Supply Chain industry compliance requirements and standards.

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint skills, with particular emphasis on data retrieval, analysis and reporting.

  • Order management systems, master data, EDI/API, WMS systems, Analytics tools, transportation management systems.
