The Business/Supply Chain organization has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain

  • Discrete Planning And Scheduling Subject Matter Expert. This position is located in Wilmington, DE, USA. A successful candidate will lead Supply Scheduling and integration with Unit Operations and related process and tool improvements to support supply chain process excellence. The Discrete Planning And Scheduling SME will drive application of master data standards, metrics, training, and development at a business level in alignment with supply Chain excellence and corporate standards. The Discrete Planning And Scheduling SME will have business and operational acumen to understand Discrete Manufacturing and Asset Scheduling requirements to support effective business operations across E&I. This role reports to the Business/Supply Chain Continuous Improvement (CI) SME Leader.

Immediate responsibilities of this job related to OMP tool deployment include:

  • Design the Discrete Manufacturing OPR solution in OMP to enable all E&I businesses.

  • Work with business Key Users and CI SMEs to gather requirement and translate those requirements into OMP logic and functionality

  • Master data preparation and readiness - work with businesses on data readiness, cleanup and OMP master data transformation

  • Work with change management, readiness, and training leads for OPR

  • Review OPR OMP test scripts and participate in development testing

Key responsibilities of this job include:

  • Support supply chain process excellence through development and application of standard data evaluation tools, metrics, training, and development at a business level.

  • Maintain external and internal connections to ensure that the standardized elements of supply chain planning processes represent industry and DuPont best practices.

  • Drive implementation, alignment, and execution of Master and Asset Scheduling processes to ensure maximum benefit is derived.

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Consultant ERP SMEs to ensure supply chain strategies are reflected in the overall ERP configuration and master data standards.

  • Participate in the Supply Chain Continuous Improvement community to help capture new business requirements, obtain the required business data, develop, test, and launch business process applications within ERP.

  • Lead or participate in business supply chain improvement projects within the Electronics and Imaging organization.

  • Training and supporting end users of implemented Supply planning and related master data standards. Applying change management best practices to understand end user training requirements and to ensure that each user receives the training and support they require to perform their jobs effectively.

  • Participation in corporate projects to support major activities such as spin/merge, technology or platform changes that result in new or revised data standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree; prefer in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering, with demonstrated expertise in asset scheduling

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on business or operational expertise in Discrete Manufacturing systems and Asset Scheduling familiarity in SAP or a similar ERP scheduling environment

  • Working knowledge of SAP Asset Scheduling and Discrete Manufacturing process configuration

Key Experiences:

  • Worked with diverse team members and business partners in different geographical locations

  • Good working knowledge of Supply Chain business planning processes

  • Implementation or development of business and operational ERP data, from requirements gathering through implementation

  • Ability to understand and work across multiple workstreams including Business Planning, Manufacturing, Order to Cash, Requisition to Pay and Warehouse Management

  • Performed problem solving support work

  • Worked on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Able to foster interpersonal relationships broadly

  • Good facilitation skills

  • Good judgment and sound analytical skills

  • Strong project management skills

  • Willingness to own and drive issues and projects

  • Ability to define, integrate, and deliver solutions from ambiguous starting point

  • APICS certification helpful
