Supply Chain Director

Job Description I have a client in the Detroit market with an immediate need for a Supply Chain Driector with experience in the building materials industry. Supply Chain Director Duties • Manage and lead purchasing and vendor relationships • Manage and lead vendor programs (i.e., co-op, rebate, discounts) • Develop new vendor programs • Create and Develop pricing structure to achieve desired margins for different customer groups • Manage inventory levels and conduct annual inventory o Intercompany transfers and ordering new material • Approve and process credit notes • Manage purchasing process - ordering, receiving, information communication with salesperson • Lead development of supply chain team • Strategic thought and development of supply chain process Looking for someone with 10 years experience leading supply chain operations in building materials or a similar industry.
