PAY RANGE: SC Digital Developer I: $51,000 - $63,700

SC Digital Developer II: $62,300 - $77,900

Sr SC Digital Developer: $79,100 - $105,400

Lead SC Digital Developer: $93,100 - $124,100

  • Friday 8:00 a.m.

  • 5:00 p.m. Job may require additional hours as required.

Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Supply Chain Digital Developer you are curious about technology and enjoy solving complex problems. You are a resourceful, determined individual who uses practical skills to build hybrid machine learning and rule-based Power Platform applications, automations, and data visualizations.

You will help change the way people, processes and systems work together from project discovery to solution implementations. Our goal is to make our business easier by building applications that streamline workflow, digitize information and automate manual tasks that ultimately improve processing accuracy, speed, consistency and reliability.

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Design, build, configure, test, deploy and maintain solutions built within the Microsoft Power Platform. Develop reusable components, scripts and frameworks designed to replicate manual administrative processes.

  • Partner with Business Analysts to lead internal stakeholders to identify opportunities by analyzing and understanding business problems, processes and data.

  • Document technical designs, release notes, and other project documentation to support development, security, operations, and maintenance.

  • Iteratively collaborate across colleagues, customers and third-parties during product development and QA to make sure it fits design and solves business problems.

  • Deploy projects successfully and problem-solve issues that arise in day-to-day support by providing timely responses and solutions as required.

  • Help develop standards and best practices for solutions built within the power platform including governance, operating model and solutions.

  • Collect and interpret data, analyze results and report findings to internal or external stakeholders.

  • Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends and best practices: experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in community of practice groups, and mentor other members of the community

  • Perform other work as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related fields

  • Experienced software engineer or developer candidates will be considered for this role, with the ideal candidate having at least four years of related experience.

  • Hands on experience on with the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Dataverse, PowerBI, etc.) or other low-code / no-code platforms is required.

  • Programming or development experience (R, Python, Java, .Net, C#, Visual Basic, etc.) preferably on automation and/or integration projects.

  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Power BI or similar applications a plus.

  • Job Level Guidelines and Years of Experience at each level.

o Lead Level: Progression to this level is on a limited basis. This level requires 8 years of related experience and incumbents must demonstrate specialized depth and breadth of expertise before moving to this level. This level is seen as a resident expert for the functional area and recognized for expertise externally with other entities. Individuals in this band are recognized experts within their function and provide guidance and support to less experienced co-workers and lead project teams. (Lead in title)

o Career Level: Individuals generally possess in-depth knowledge/experience and may provide guidance and support to less experienced co-workers. Solves complex problems and contributes to process improvements. This is the level at which most individual contributors grow and stabilize for many years, if not for the duration of their career. Very few move to the lead level as specialized expertise in a field or function. Must have at least 5 years of related experience before moving to a career level role. (Sr in title)

o Intermediate Level: Demonstrates broader capability to take on more complex assignments and an enhanced level of working knowledge and experience in own job discipline. May continue to develop and seek support from senior level roles and peers. Applies more expertise in profession to achieve results. Requires 2 years of related experience before moving to an intermediate role. (II in title)

o Entry Level: Generally new to a role and performs routine assignments applying knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures.

Receives instruction, guidance and direction from more senior level roles, peers, leadership. Incumbents at this level have less than 2 years of related experience and are entry level in their role. (I in title) Internship experience does not equate to fulltime experience for level progression.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

o Inquisitive, comfortable with ambiguity, and self-motivated to identify improvement opportunities aligned with business objectives and strategic plans.

o Cares about the details and demonstrates strong debugging, problem solving and analytical skills with ability to extract key themes and determine root causes.

o Ability to assimilate disparate information (structured data, unstructured data, log files, error messages etc.).

o Ability to work on basic-to-moderately complex programming assignments. General understanding of APIs, command line, client server architecture, networks, and (S)FTP. Background in machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts is a plus.

o Ability to participate constructively in work teams to facilitate and implement improvements to operations, maintenance and business practices.

o Ability to understand business process workflow diagrams or procedural documentation.

o Exposure to methodologies like Lean, Six-Sigma and Agile development, preferred.

o Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues and third parties.

o Perseverance to handle multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines and work well under pressure on individual and team related basis.
