Collaborate closely with surgical and clinical teams to anticipate and meet the supply needs for a wide range of procedural cases.

Manage expectations and deliver excellent customer service within the fast-paced environment of procedural areas through a balanced prioritization of supply needs and requests.

Play a key role in supporting high quality surgical and procedural outcomes through the management and provision of the necessary supplies and materials at the right time, cost, and quantity.

Maintain par levels, by balancing inventories through inventory turns/cost of inventory, P.O. tracking, backorder management, sourcing and communication /collaboration with clinical partners. Analyze inventory/usage levels and communicate with clinical teams of all par changes/suggestions.

Manage customer communication and supply chain processes to ensure optimal customer service standards are met.

Work collaboratively with clinical staff and supply chain leadership to develop and maintain programs and processes designed to ensure compliance of service excellence delivery standards.

Inspect, receive, and unpack shipments. Verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips; record receiving transactions; report shortages and damaged products; transfer/transport supplies and equipment to all designated inventory locations.

Receiving issue resolution, exception management, and product returns oversight, product returns management. Participate in physical inventory.

Achieve quality expectations including auditing inventory locations for regulatory compliance such as cleanliness, organization, expired supplies, ceiling heights and supplies put away in the correct locations.

Supply ordering of all products for defined areas. Inventory management of specials (non-standard items) requiring product search and communication with vendor/rep. Work back orders- coordinate subs and/or transfer from other area/hospital.

Ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained and communicate with customer regarding stocking, ordering, new products and or product changes and deliveries.

Monitor procedural cases within the inventory system and provide guidance and support to clinical staff for the correct utilization and maintenance of the system.

Utilize proper system processes for case inventory management and utilization.

Execute the operational aspects necessary to assure financially responsible supply levels in assigned departments.

Benchmark performance measure to track trends and needs for improvement.

Regulatory- Ensure staff compliance with department, hospital, state and federal regulations including timely CBT completion, accurate clock in and out processes, and timely documentation for PTO.

Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Requires the ability to work under/handle stressful situations.

Must be a quick thinker and able to displays positive emotional behavior, as well as apply positive social skills with co-workers, vendors, customers, and patients.

Work Schedule: PRN, as needed

Qualifications/Training:

  • Bachelor's degree and three (3) years' experience in Supply Chain or related field. Eight (8) years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

  • Microsoft Excel knowledge required.

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:

  • Certification as a Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or ISM Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) is preferred.
