You will be responsible for buy and maintain through supply chain processes all finished goods, service spares and all other goods required for the solar group to maintain day to day operations. Planning reorder points, verifying shipments both internal and external and maintaining inventory numbers in accordance with planned business unit objectives.
Senior professionals ( > 5 years of work experience)
Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited:
Forecasting: Maintain balance files with forecasting numbers to ensure proper inventory of finished and spare goods. Produce monthly and annual forecasting files across all product lines.
Planning: Produce and analyze open order work reports, PO placement both internal and external, review logistical functions to ensure timely delivery maintaining cost projections, plan for special projects as required by business requirements.
Communications: Responsible for working directly with senior management to maintain Sales order and projection reports, inventory levels in local and remote warehouses and third-party warehouses as well as repair center inventory management. Provide single point of contact for all parts escalations and projects.
Database Entry: Responsible for issuing purchase orders as required by business needs, maintain parts movements within SAP and Basware as required and have proficiency in running SCM reports from all internal systems.
Ability to communicate effectively with reports and peers.
Self-Starter Exceptional Analytical skills.
Good organizational skills.
Candidate must be detailed oriented, and willing to work within a fast-paced environment with constant change within his or her job responsibilities.
Candidate must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Candidate should have the ability to multitask as required within numerous processes and several computing platforms (SAP, CRM, Salesforce).
Understanding of the solar industry is a plus.
Proficient in the English language, Spanish speaking is a plus.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
