The Manager of Supply Structures Business Process is responsible for evaluating, designing, guiding, monitoring and establishing controls for the IOPS supply chain. The Manager will champion process improvement, maximizing efficiency and effectiveness while meeting the demands of a rapidly growing production and distribution operation. The position is responsible for providing leadership and direction, ensuring consistent standards and practices are in harmony with IOPS strategic goals. The Manager will work closely with a cross functional team to maintain, analyze, make system/process recommendations and coordinate with IOPS business partners to execute policy and process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Be a flexible, influential and effective leader with the ability to build and develop new capabilities and an effective team.
Define, develop, clearly and effectively communicate, implement, maintain, and champion IOPS Supply Chain Business Processes.
Responsible for policy and procedure development reviews/improvements.
Facilitate process and redesign workshops; coordinating with key stakeholders, involving business users, utilizing knowledge of process modeling and documenting requirements.
Identify, detect, and create processes towards accomplishing business goals specific for the IOPS organization, key strategic changes, programs and / or other critical initiatives.
Identify opportunities and lead efforts to improve business processes through continuous improvement and business process re-engineering.
Educate key stake holders and business users that are responsible for the operation and management of various business processes.
Assure documentation is current and personnel are adequately trained in the principals, policies, and procedures of the supply chain management system.
Draw on deep cross-functional knowledge to represent supply chain as a subject matter expert in the business process design, implementation and maintenance for supply chain.
Interact independently with business users to determine requirements, identify potential solutions, and suggest potential configuration changes/enhancements to existing systems.
Creates and publishes metrics to evaluate overall effectiveness; produce periodic reports that drive positive results, get to root cause and roll up to annual IOPS goals.
Maintains awareness of current industry standards, trends and practices.
Assists Director Supply Structures with regular meetings, goal setting and reporting; represents as needed or performs other activities when required by the business.
Provides coaching to direct reports; including employees development plan; foster a healthy work environment where employees feel valued and respected.
Promotes the achievement of corporate goals and objectives.
May require domestic U.S. travel, potential international travel approximately up to 10% of the time.

Lean/Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement knowledge a plus.
Education & Experience:
Assoc. Manager: Bachelor's degree (Business, Information Systems, or a scientific discipline) + 6 years' experience in a manufacturing or Supply Chain Management environment, pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment preferred.
Manager: Bachelor's degree (Business, Information Systems, or a scientific discipline) + 7 years' experience in Supply Chain Management in a manufacturing or Supply Chain Management environment, pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment preferred.
Sr. Manager: Bachelor's degree (Business, Information Systems., or a scientific discipline) + 8 years' experience in a manufacturing or Supply Chain Management environment, pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment preferred.
MS or MBA preferred.
APICS, ISM or ASQ professional certification strongly preferred, CPIM, CSCP, CPSM or CSSBB.
Prior cGMP regulated experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry a plus.
