Primary contact for analytics for Supply Chain and process/system questions. Develops business relationships in support of internal and external users of Supply Chain's ERP system.

Major responsibilities are to ensure accurate, credible and up to date data within all modules of the Supply Chain ERP system, including but not limited to requisitioning, procurement and contract management, inventory management and its related components, as well reporting and data analyses from Supply Chain ERP system, including developing requested ad-hoc reports. Possesses knowledge and understanding of the Supply Chain's business processes to integrate with system data and fulfill analytical/reporting requests. Presents data in a manner than can be easily interpreted and effectively used to make evidence-based business decisions.

Has knowledge of Supply Chain ERP and mobile Supply Chain functionality to accurately extract required data to formulate reports and fulfill analytical requirements. Has a good understanding and can execute ERP system administrative tasks as assigned and as allowed in all modules. Continues to improve this knowledge to obtain expert status.

Degrees: Bachelors Associates

Additional Qualifications:
Associates degree in Business Administration or ACS degree or equivalent in experience.

Experience in hospital setting analytics a plus. Experienced in PC applications and all Microsoft systems. Possess skills and has experience to extract, analyze database elements, develop spreadsheets, word processing and other statistical applications to present statistical data reporting trends and measuring performance.

Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude and excellent work ethics. Detail-oriented.

Knowledge of relational databases and familiarity with SQL reporting. Proficiency with PeopleSoft Query and tables.

Reporting to the Manager of Strategic Analytics, this position supports activities relating to Supply Chain Analytics for all sections of Supply Chain operations of the University of Miami. The Strategic Analyst assists the Manager with assigned analytics for those supply chain measurements related to business decisions, spend tracking, and materials management improvements. The Strategic Analyst serves an active role in the development of Value Analysis projects and serves on the Value Analysis teams as appropriate. The Strategic Analyst also supports and works directly with Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing in the analysis Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Works with Value Analysis teams and Supply Chain departments to identify areas of opportunity whether related to savings or product utilization. Participates in stakeholder meetings as needed for clarity on data elements and analytics. 2. Assists with the building of complex data models to create frameworks to better understand business drivers, including Product Mix, Utilization Patterns, Contract Penetration, Rebate Assessment, Supplier Market Share, Price Discovery, Benchmark Comparison, GPO Effectiveness, Submitted Bids and Results Reporting. Participates in pursuit strategy development to outline required data elements. 3. Provides Value Analysis and Supply Chain Management analytics, data, and other related reports on a routine basis for University of Miami under the guidance and direction of the Manager. 4. Provides analytics to support the Supply Chain Pipeline, Landed Savings Report inclusive of Run-Rate Computation, Missed Opportunity Reporting, and Inventory Valuation Computation and Reporting to provide and generate statistics. 5. Reviews data elements with Value Analysis team members and completes data collection processes in support of Value Analysis initiatives. Works collaboratively with the Value Analysis team to complete defined analytics in support of approved initiatives and in measuring ongoing performance. Assists Value Analysis team in preparing documentation requirements for Value Analysis meetings. Assists in maintaining initiative savings tracking system. 6. Supports the operation of the Supply Chain Management Portal, U-VAC Portal, ePAR Portal, and other special SharePoint sites as needed. 7. Complete all assigned deliverables on time 8. Maintains operational knowledge of Supply Chain operations. 9. Demonstrates flexibility, professionalism, and current awareness of and developments in the supply chain. Possesses ability to prioritize, follow through and maintain self-direction. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Demonstrated aptitude in managing multiple/simultaneous projects. * Strong analytical and organizational skills. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to interact with all levels of University and Hospital management, physicians and other clinical staff, as well as with others outside the University. Education Requirements (Essential Requirements): Bachelor's degree required in healthcare, business administration.
