The Supply Chain Associate will have the following duties and responsibilities:

Assist Category Manager in the Indirect procurement process (gathering stakeholder requirements, RFI/RFP, Sourcing, Contracting and requisition/purchase orders.

  • Responsible for completing all Purchasing Assistant and Contract Administration requests for Navistar Defense and Procurement

  • Responsible for working with Accounting and suppliers/vendors to resolve specific invoicing issues

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for vendor provided Procurement Operations services including Purchasing Assistant, Contract Administration and Invoice Match Exception or Invoice Verification

  • Miscellaneous Procurement activities/projects as required

Position Purpose

This role will support one or more of the following functions: material and services sourcing, procurement, supplier management, production planning, transportation, inventory control, and distribution.

Basic Requirements

  • Associate's Degree and at least 1 year of Supply Chain, Materials Management, Procurement or Operations experience


  • At least 2 years of Supply Chain, Materials Management, Procurement, Operations experience

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.   • Ability to complete tasks independently and manage multiple priorities

  • Proficient with Microsoft Applications, Word, Excel Experience and with Oracle based applications

The role is responsible for sourcing, supplier selection, evaluation, and continued development of worldwide master supplier data through cross-functional teams. The role will work closely with External Suppliers and Service Providers in addition to working internally with Healthcare Business Units, Legal, and Procurement departments of the business units and all Manufacturing and Manufacturing Engineering departments including Contract Manufacturing, Manufacturing Support, Project Management, Process Engineering, Sustaining Engineering and Training. The role supports the long-term strategic objectives to ensure the delivery of high-quality radiopharmaceuticals and outstanding patient care on behalf of PETNET Solutions, a multi-national, wholly-owned subsidiary of Siemens Heathineers. PETNET is the worldwide leader in the manufacturing and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals for positron emission tomography. This position is located in Knoxville, TN. Specific Responsibilities: * · Manage/oversee daily logistical processes for distribution of PET Radiopharmaceuticals for the US market * · Conduct quarterly business reviews with strategic vendors to include Supplier evaluation and development, including supplier rating * · Manage the relationship between third party service providers and PETNET field operations. * · Analyze, control and report on relevant logistical process, detect and evaluate plan deviations, and derive recommendations for respective remedial measures. * · Manage the implementation of key logistical projects * · Integrate processes and results from other workflows and disciplines to develop and accountably propose appropriate and effective solutions. * · Oversight of total freight spend to include budgeting, invoicing and financial reporting * · Internal and external logistical support for daily dose/product distribution and delivery * Other * · Perform qualified cost-and-profitability analyses for specific business cases to prepare respective alternative decisions. * · Introduce and implement logistical requirements regarding material provision and delivery as well as material phase-in/out in the PLM process * · Procurement master data maintenance (e.g. source list, info rec.) * · Materials planning and inventory management for day-to-day operations (domestic and international) * · Complete regular forecasting and planning for several relevant indicators (e.g. turnover, production, inventories, changes in inventory, capital expenditure requirements, employee capacities, etc.). * · Develop supplier forecasts and determine logistical processes with suppliers. (Minimum) Qualifications: Knowledge/Experience: * · B.S. or M.S. degree in Supply Chain, Planning Logistics or related disciplines required.
