Under general supervision of the Supply Chain Director - Procurement responsible for analyzing the effectiveness of existing procurement processes as it relates to the supply chain activity ensuring manufacturer performance and AmerisourceBergen objectives are aligned. Recommends and contributes to improved strategies in order to improve margins as a result of these efforts.

  • Evaluates business processes and designs develops and implements improvements that reduce cost improve effectiveness and improves the quality or magnitude of the end result.

  • Develops new solutions to various tactical challenges ABC faces as it relates to procuring product managing supplier relations and meeting business objectives.

  • Trains others in the solutions designed to carry the process in the Operate and Maintain mode.

  • Acts as an internal consultant to other procurement areas in support of procurement projects to improve buy-side profits inventory productivity or overall team effectiveness.

  • Participates in Supply and Demand Chain projects across the organization.

  • Works closely with suppliers and other functional areas in order to improve performance.

  • Develops value-added services and solutions to respond to manufacturer needs.

  • Develops decision support models supporting policy decisions in the supply chain activity.

  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration accountancy sales marketing computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires two (2) to four (4) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.

Description The Digital Business Analyst is responsible for managing the configuration and maintenance of our eCommerce product catalog and online engineering tools. This person will identify, diagnose, report and assist resolving system issues and perform process and system analysis to drive process improvement recommendations. The Digital Business Analyst will document reports requirements to aid in data driven decisions and will also participate in testing, training, and implementation of applications and new procedures for the digital customer experience team. Responsibilities: * Develop a strong understanding of our Product Catalog systems and processes to ensure accurate maintenance and drive improved use of system and efficiencies. * Understands both business expectations and technology capabilities by staying up to date on current website's technical capabilities and future enhancements. * Act as the liaison among Engineering, Product Managers, Digital Strategists, and Integrated Marketing to help ensure the solution meets business needs and system quality requirements. * Gather, evaluate, and document business needs and requirements, and translate them into functional specifications, user stories, or wireframes. * Create and maintain process documentation and identify improvement opportunities for new and existing digital applications. * Define high level test plans, create and execute test cases for functional, integration, system, and regression testing. * Actively monitor the users, usage, conversions, interactions, business outcomes of the digital products and work with supervision to identify address improvement opportunities. * Participates in the execution of digital customer experience products within established guidelines that support Emerson growth plans. * Ability to work on numerous different assignments at one time with demonstrated follow through, attention to detail, and commitment to customer service. * Demonstrate an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit, and a desire to challenge conventional methods and processes. Additional Information Relocation benefits are not available for this position. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Business or related technical field * Two (2) to Four (4) years of related experience * Agile development, competency writing basic SQL queries, basic understanding of HTML 5 * Business acumen, extremely detailed oriented, strategic and analytical thinking, root cause analysis and creating problem solving ability * Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments and renegotiating priorities to meet current business environment needs * Ability of this individual to thrive in a team setting. * Having a general understanding of best practices surrounding user-experience (UX) design, project management, issue prioritization, quality assurance, and search engine marketing and optimization. * Occasional Travel may be required Preferred: * Experience working with eCommerce platforms and content management systems preferred. * Knowledge and experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) process (agile and waterfall), including planning, analysis, design, development and testing.
