POSITION IMPACT

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for gathering data and conducting analysis with the goal of improving S.P.

Richards' supply chain operations by increasing efficiency and reducing costs.

We seek a proven problem solver with an analytical mind and a strong understanding on supply chain concepts such as inventory and demand planning. The Analyst will be working effectively with cross-functional teams, including colleagues from Supply Chair, Merchandising, Operations, Marketing and Pricing. The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Data Collection
  • Gathering data from a variety of internal databases using SQL queries and reporting systems.
  • Data Visualization
  • Building graphics and dashboards in Excel / Qlik to track department KPIs such as Service Line Fill, Missed Sales Dollars, Inventory for each Distribution Center
  • Customer Missed Sales Analysis
  • Preparing reports and taking action to adjust inventory to capture future sales
  • Projections and Forecasts
  • Leveraging Manhattan IO and company data sources to create purchase projections for vendors
  • Process Improvements Projects
  • Obtaining, analyzing data and making recommendations for improvement such as inventory reduction, stocking strategy analysis, and data integrity improvement

PROFESSIONAL

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience in analyzing business processes specifically supply chain / purchasing processes. Other key qualifications include:

Advanced Microsoft Excel and Data Visualization experience required

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.

Documentation skills of business processes and procedures, draw valid conclusions and make sound business process decisions

Effective presentation skills - present information and respond to questions

Strong people skills; professionalism presence and maturity
