Participates in feasibility analysis, estimating, planning, designing, developing, prototyping, implementing, quality assurance evaluation and modification of automated systems. Defines training requirements and assists with automated systems training. Recommends solutions to enhance system functionality.
Responsible for gathering business requirements and developing high-level approach to solution and services to fulfill those requirements to support the Source to Pay process. Act as primary liaison between Supply Chain and key partners in the transformation project. Responsible for development of process maps, use cases and testing plans. Requires deep understanding of how the business operates as well as the software that enables business processes. Participates in design and implementation of eProcurement solution(s) and acts as support post go-live.
Supports and designs department project assignments and small system implementation.
Provides input to solution development efforts.
Completes assignments as directed.
Tracks information system resources for assigned projects.
Reports on project time-lines and documents performance.
Develops work products, documentation of operational and business objectives, best technology capabilities and task level resource requirements.
Maintains project task plans, documentation and communications.
Anticipates issues and problems and proactively defines risk mitigation measures.
Highly capable of developing communication plans with project stakeholders, sponsors and leadership and governing groups.
Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions
Interprets customer needs, assesses requirements and identifies solutions to nonstandard requests
Works with the line of business to develop and document solution requirements, develops and coordinates test plans

Assists less experienced business analysts with development of communication plans and design of facilitated sessions.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or related field.
Additional experience may offset the degree requirement.
Complexity of Work:
Strong analytical, critical thinking and communication skills are required.
Excellent at problem solving and relationship building.
Minimum of five (5) years experience in information technology dealing with applications development and support, or end user training, or equivalent experience in an operational or financial role utilizing the systems or data generated by the systems supported by this position.
4+ years of leading large corporate projects preferred
Expertise in business analysis specific to Source to Pay preferred.
High degree of dexterity to produce materials on a computer.
Requires normal or corrected vision, hearing and speech.
Mobility sufficient to attend meetings.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
The position must be available after hours for support by pager and computer dial-in.
