Wieland is hiring a Supply Chain Analyst. The supply chain analyst will be responsible for becoming competent in supply chain and purchasing roles to back up positions (such as scheduling, logistics, and purchasing). The role will also be involved with the development of key performance metrics and systems to monitor and drive YOY continuous improvement objectives. This role is located in Shelbyville, KY and will be fully on-site.
Responsibilities
Supply Chain Analyst Responsibilities:
Processing of SAP transactions through the system, such as goods postings goods receipts, settlement statements, etc.
Supply chain analysis (i.e. inventory performance, scheduling performance, financial, logistics, delivery performance analysis)
Capacity planning and optimization analysis
Develop and execute projects to decrease costs and meet annual company cost reduction goals
Develop performance metrics and track improvements for supply chain department
Develop reporting to analyze sales and operations planning and forecasting processes
Develop dashboard for management reporting
Supports supply chain department by backing up critical roles in scheduling, logistics and procurement
All other Duties as Assigned
Supply Chain Analyst Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or related field required.
2-5 years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing company, preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, work with all departments and suppliers
Excellent computer skills, including excel (use of pivot tables, database tools, power pivot)
Experience with data visualization and dashboard reporting tools
Strong analytical skills.
Experience with ERP system (SAP, Oracle, etc)
