The role of the Supply Chain Analyst

  • Building Construction & Facilities will be to develop and manage in-depth, metric driven programs and analytics on existing and future Distribution & Fulfillment Centers to further optimize DSGs supply chain building infrastructure. This position requires developed analytics skills and the ability to proactively drive analyses and projects to completion. A growing entrepreneurial impulse to drive innovation is encouraged.
  • Develop and maintain critical building analytics and maintenance tools including capital purchasing, preventative maintenance, centralized SOPs, and asset management.

  • Facilitate data analyses and produce KPIs and reporting tools for DC maintenance programs

Perform vendor analysis, bids, and contract negotiation for DC service providers for new and existing scopes.

  • Analyze new technologies or products, develop financial returns, and make final recommendations on process and product improvement.

  • Perform vendor analysis, bids, and contract negotiation for DC service providers for new and existing scopes.

  • Play a key role in DC sustainability initiatives. Develop and maintain analytics for energy management and reporting. Identify key energy initiatives and develop plan for optimization.

  • Provide analytics and assist in developing scope for new DC capital projects. Assist in the DC maintenance expense management.

  • Partner with project teams or DC managers to deploy strategic supply chain projects and programs.

  • Assist project manager with project coordinator responsibilities for retrofit and new construction projects

  • Maintaining project documentation (base building construction and material handling)

  • Monitoring overall schedule and communication progress to key stakeholders

  • Managing budget, forecast, and invoicing milestones


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Engineering, Supply Chain, Business preferred
  • Experience 2-5 years distribution/manufacturing

  • Technology--MS Office including Access, Excel, Visio; Project Planning tools; Auto CAD; Warehouse Mgt Systems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self motivated-results oriented

  • Indepth analytical skills

  • Customer service oriented

This position is based at our corporate office near Pittsburgh, PA. At this time in the role you would be required to be in the office Tuesday-Thursday and work locally from home Monday & Friday.

This role is responsible for sourcing, prescreening candidates, scheduling and following through the entire process to orientation. We build partnerships with our HR and Operations business partners to review, plan and execute strategic hiring initiatives. * Look ahead to identify sources to find both active and passive candidates. As candidate flow fluctuates make adjustments and suggestions. * Utilizes applicant tracking system to status candidates. Qualify candidates and schedules for face to face interviews to hand off to the onsite DC HR team. * Creates offer letters, performs background checks assisting candidates to complete initial paperwork before orientation * Works closely with the DC HR teams on process improvement and identify any obstacles to reaching hiring goals * The majority of the time will be devoted to the full cycle recruiting of hourly.
