Job Description:
We are seeking a Supply Chain Analyst, Associate for a very important client.

Job Overview:
The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for conducting data analysis and provide recommendations to improve our supply chain operational efficiencies and reduce costs. The main responsibilities include excess and obsolescence analysis, material expense analysis and build plan analysis. The successful candidate will collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, planning, finance and engineering in order to achieve supply chain operational efficiencies. Additional responsibilities will be added as required.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Proficient in Oracle ERP

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Strong collaboration skills

  • Strong desire to learn

  • Close attention to detail

  • Ability to facilitate meetings

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Visual basic excel experience

  • 2+ experience in NPI manufacturing environment

  • Process Improvement experience


  • Bachelors degree preferred or 3 years work experience

POSITION SUMMARY: The Supply Chain Analyst Contractor will support the Supply Chain group in the documentation of business process and tools to support current and future business needs and develop capabilities to support the growth of the business. He/she will help organize information to define and improve business processes, develop tools to support Supply Chain operations and help collect and manage data in support of daily operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: These may include but are not limited to: * Drafting of work instructions, business process documents and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) * Development of workflows/flowcharts and other visual aides * Development of graphical interfaces to help access and navigate content * Collection of data and updates from internal or external functions to review and update records, reports or data files (e.g., inventory records) * Development of spreadsheets and other tools to support inventory management, production/procurement planning and other Supply Chain functions. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Support of various business process development/improvement initiatives as identified * Other duties as assigned EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: * Minimum Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business or a related field (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered) * Experience in some of the following areas: * Internship or working experience in the pharmaceutical industry * Business process mapping (flow charts) * Development of training materials and/or business process documentation * Development of spreadsheets or other data analysis/management tools * Data analysis and reporting * Ability to produce high-quality written and visual materials * Excellent communication skills * Demonstrated abilities to take initiative and contribute to projects and process improvement efforts * Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills * Ability to quickly learn new processes and business environments TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: Equipment: PC, scanners, facsimile machine, voice mail and e-mail systems, and common office machines, or ability to be trained. Knowledge of other equipment required: N/A Software Knowledge: Windows, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Knowledge of other software required: High proficiency in MS Office applications. Particularly, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with SharePoint is a plus.
