Supply Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and address potential service issues working with cross functional team

  • Manage and monitor the execution of the defined production and finished goods inventory

  • Ensure all items and activities are accurately reflected in the supply planning system

  • Improve Bill of Material (BOM) accuracy by verifying Apollo BOM with packaging specs/SAP BOM

  • Ensure that the forecast is passed accurately and at the appropriate level of detail to the production planning system

  • Manage the fixed quantity process item set up, allocation calendars, and DFUtoSKU timing

  • Ensure customer service objectives are met through daily review of the order bank, and working with cross functional partners to address any potential cuts

Mars Wrigley Confectionery is looking for an Affiliate Supply Chain Analyst in Hackettstown, NJ Job Purpose: Mars Wrigley Confectionery "Affiliates" are MWC sister companies around the globe that due to the lack of in market manufacturing capabilities or available production capacity cannot produce the products they require thus they must source and import product from the US. The core purpose of the Affiliate Supply Chain Analyst role is to support the Global MWC Affiliate businesses around the world by providing excellent customer service, order management, operations feasibility analysis planning and global logistics execution and support. The role is highly focused on customer service and relationship management, communication, organization and follow up skills with a specific focus on international trade and global logistics. The role requires a strong understanding of US export operations, customs documentation requirements, Affiliate market import operations and documentation requirements and a strong understanding of US MWC supply chain planning and production processes in order to deliver the correct product to the correct customer in the correct quantity at the correct cost at the correct time. The Affiliate Supply Chain Analyst role is critical in supporting MWC global growth strategies and supporting the MWC Affiliate Charter of: "Growing Our Diverse Global Family Through Collaborative Relationships One Sweet Shipment at a Time Key Responsibilities: The Affiliate Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for ensuring end to end customer service and supply chain excellence. Areas of focus are: Customer Master Data Management * Ensure all customer related data and systems are correct and properly maintained Customer Demand Management * Ensure each MWC Affiliate Customer provides a reasonable and timely demand forecast relative to historical actuals and that forecast is loaded into JDA each period Customer Order Management and Analysis * Ensure all Affiliate Customer Orders are in line with their forecast Operational Feasibility Analysis and Planning * Work with MWC Planning, Inventory and DRP resources to analyze production and inventory to ensure adequate product availability in order to execute customer orders Global Logistics Execution * Work with MWC Plants, Warehouses, Freight Forwarders, Carriers (Cross-Border, Dray, Ocean), Compliance, Regulatory and Government agencies to ensure freight rates and contracts are in place and shipments are being executed in a timely and efficient manner Customs Compliance and Regulatory * Work with Freight Forwarder and MWC Compliance to ensure all customs documents are correct and provided to Affiliates and Customs Agents in a timely efficient manner Quality Control * Work with Affiliate Customers and MWC Quality Team to ensure all quality issues are addressed in a timely manner and follow the PRIMP Process where applicable Financial Management and OS&D * Work with MWC Logistics Finance to manage the Affiliate Customer Credit / Debit / Cross Charge process in a mutually beneficial manner * Work with Affiliate Customers to manage, resolve and reduce OS&D's Business Intelligence and KPI * Review business performance KPI with Affiliate Customers, provide visibility to trends, supply risks, training and support and identify issues and opportunities for improvement. Conduct supply chain reporting and analysis on an adhoc basis. Continuous Improvement and Optimization * Continually review, optimize and simplify the supply chain in order to eliminate waste, generate efficiencies and reduce costs through the application of process improvements or technology.
