Supplier Transformation Leader

Job Description Summary

Responsible for developing, implementing, and leading the framework for Supplier Development for the assigned Sourcing Segment Supply Base. The Supplier Transformation Leader is pivotal in driving procurement transformation with our supplier base. The role will be responsible for driving excellence and predictability in supplier metrics such as but not restricted to quality, on-time delivery and cost. This influencer-role will call for complex problem solving at various levels of the procurement process.

Job Description

Role Responsibilities

• Leading a supplier development framework that delivers a competitive advantage including implementation of the required action plans towards supplier performance improvement to ensure a resilient and reliable sourcing landscape.

• Leading Global Cross functional teams, full accountability for execution of a supplier development framework by setting strategic direction towards supplier resiliency.

• Developing strategies and driving prioritization and execution for long-term supply base development.

• Partnering with key business stakeholders to ensure business segments are supported towards stable growth through a reliable global supply base.

• Supporting Supplier Quality Program, collaborating cross-functionally with the Supplier Quality Organization to provide the means to execute supplier quality actions with full accountability from our suppliers.

Quality Specific Goals

• Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Finance

• Minimum of 6 years' experience in Sourcing, Operations, Supply Chain and/or Commercial background

• Excellent business/financial acumen, proficient in leading and setting direction for teams, including demonstrated ability to motivate, influence and drive change at all levels of the organization

• Excellent growth leadership skills demonstrating clear global perspective and understand factors impacting GEHC businesses and our suppliers

• Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%

• Influence/communication - establishes good relationships; drives change across functional & global boundaries

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's in Business Administration

• 10 years solid sourcing, supply chain or commercial experience including 6 years in a leadership capacity

• Extensive global experience leading cross-functional or geographically dispersed teams

• Proven Executive Leadership skills in driving Global change across an organization, including strong Change Acceleration Process skills

• Demonstrated ability to lead courageously, maintaining a strong position amidst opposition to resolve important issues, and ability to navigate through a large complex business

• Quality Leadership experience
