Job Description

Motion Industries is seeking a Supplier Sales Support Analyst to support and administer its special pricing programs obtained through our suppliers for the purpose of bolstering sales and improving overall profitability. These strategic programs leverage procurement opportunities that provide Motion the ability to act on rapidly changing and complex market conditions, promote products, deploy sales strategies, and compete in an array of sales opportunities across the organization. As a Supplier Sales Support Analyst your role will be to support the operational aspects of these programs with primary responsibilities focused on project management, program documentation and setup, claims reconciliation, troubleshooting operating systems, and providing ongoing training. Responsibilities:

  • Document, load, and maintain SSS programs

  • Arbitrate claims and reconcile discrepancies pursuant to the agreements and in collaboration with suppliers and internal personnel

  • Calculate and process income adjustments through AP and Payroll

  • Direct and coordinate branch operations, management, and suppliers on inquiries for existing programs and the implementation of new ones

  • Troubleshoot operating system issues, document, and recommend solutions

  • Troubleshoot and direct personnel concerning P & L statements, commission reports, POS reports, product, pricing, costs, and contracts

  • Track, develop, and report Key Performance Indicators

  • General item database maintenance

  • Onboarding acquired companies regarding these programs

  • Develop and present training materials through webcast and classroom settings

  • Strategic Plan development

Qualifications:

  • Expert in Excel; strong command of Word and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of supply chain including terms, product, contract language, and accounting principles

  • Strong mathematics and analytics

  • Skilled and articulate in all forms of communication

  • Strong organizational skills

  • High level problem solver for both ill-defined and well-defined scenarios

  • Excellent follow through skills; self-starter with steady resolve to deliver the difference

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and consistently meet deadlines

  • Must discern and manage sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner

  • Develop and conduct presentations through webcast and classroom settings

  • Self-motivated professional who acts with integrity, optimism, and dedication

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industrial supply chain experience

  • 3-5 years of managerial experience is preferred

  • Working knowledge of Motion's operating system is preferred

  • Skill set and experience with data analytics is preferred

  • Desire to spend the day at a desk and on a computer

This will be accomplished by consulting company representatives on proper business practices in inventory management and inventory operations including prevention, identification, and disposition of excess inventory. Furthermore, a change agent for promoting new inventory disciplines and culture. In addition, they will work with cross functional teams to develop new programs to increase operational efficiencies based on studies of past, present, and future data trends. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to the following): * Enforce Company inventory policies and procedures in daily communication with field leadership. * Understand data governance and control distribution of company inventory data points. * Ensure full compliance of audit policies of Obsolescence Program and Physical Inventory / DC Mock Inventory. * Find new insights and trends which will help identify and solve complicated supply chain problems. * Create automatic dashboards using current or future tools. * Collaborate with all areas of the supply chain to identify and understand inventory opportunities. * Build simulation models which forecast outcomes of changes to policies or procedures. * Deliver comprehensive reports in presentation and / or written form. * Work with IT Department to enhance current and future inventory systems. * Create and deliver critical inventory trainings * Support excess inventory initiatives * Active participant in the annual inventory business plan Qualifications and Experience: * 4 year degree in business, statistics, analytics, or equivalent field / work experience. * Experience in managing projects. * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel and SQL. * Background in quantitative thinking and statistical data analysis. * Strong analytical problem solving skills. * Powerful presentation skills with advanced PowerPoint design knowledge. * Experience with data BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.).
