Under the supervision of the Supplier Quality Supervisor, you will be responsible for the supplier quality control and quality evaluations of current and future vendors. This will include performance monitoring, technical support, initial and continuing evaluations as well as DMR/SCAR remediation through technical documentation, Engineering and Production engagement, and information discovery.

What you'll bring:

• At least 5 years of experience in a design and manufacturing environment including CNC production.

• At least 2 years of CNC and Fabricated Part Inspection and Documentation experience

• Technical Certification, GD&T Analysis or 4-year degree preferred.

• Experience in total quality, six sigma, or other similar environments.

• Working knowledge and understanding of ERP/MRP systems and their use in a manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

• Ability to demonstrate solid written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to obtain a security clearance.

• Must be willing to travel

• High School Level math and comprehension skills

• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.

• Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions

What you'll do:

• Coordinate with cross-functional business teams to develop the best economic quality strategy for incoming goods.

• Assist drawing packages review for quotation that require enhancements or corrections to ensure clarity for new and existing suppliers.

• Responsible for the maintenance of supplier guideline notifications to all suppliers.

• Providing technical advice and guidance to suppliers to reduce defect rates.

• Assure vendor compliance with McCoy's quality standards and procedures regarding calendar evaluations, performance monitoring (OTD, Defect Rate) and other audit requirements.

• Assist in the continued monitoring of supplier approval status.

• Maintain detailed reports on supplier quality, including defect rates and areas that result in flaws.

• Review and process, as appropriate to stated procedures, Vendor Quality notifications or Scars.

• Provide reviews and suggestions on procedures regarding improvement or creation.

• Implement methods and best practices related to the systems and process that support supplier quality and review.

• Adhere to established company policies, procedures, terms and conditions and legal matters.

• Participates as a member of the operations team in making cross-functional operational decisions.

• Participates in MRB and CAR meetings to resolve quality issues working with both internal and external resources.

• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by implementing, maintaining and aligning company policies that adhere to local, state and federal environmental

• Enforcing and monitoring of internal KPIs for materials activity (tracking and resolution) and external KPIs for vendors including the delivery, quality, attitude and response to CI Events.

• Assist in the root cause investigation of discrepancies in all stages of production.

• Prepares routine and special reports as required

• Assumes leadership role in working with key internal company personnel to establish sound and effective business strategies

• May perform other duties as assigned.
