In this exciting role as a Program Manager you will have responsibility for overseeing the governance of internal supplier controls, the Quality Agreements program, and Quality Management Systems changes.

RTG

The Restorative Therapies Group develops life-restoring therapies and healthcare solutions that span the care continuum; integrating technologies and applying clinical and economic evidence to increase patient access, improve efficiency of procedures and deliver successful patient outcomes.

A Day in the Life

This position will be responsible for managing strategic RTG Supplier Quality programs to ensure success. This will include overseeing the governance of internal supplier controls, the Quality Agreements process, and Quality Management Systems changes.

Internal suppliers (aka Medtronic sites) require the same oversight and management of external suppliers. This position will be collaborating with other Medtronic businesses to ensure proper supplier controls. From the time the Quality Agreement is initiated to the time it is approved and stored in the supplier files this position will own the process including oversight, improving cycle times, and providing guidance to the RTG sites. Lastly, RTG sites have their own QMS system to manage within; this position will coordinate changes with all the RTG sites to ensure processes are standardized across RTG.

Relative to all the programs being managed, this position will need to understand product and business objectives and manage projects in alignment with business goals. Lead cross functional project teams comprised of a broad range of diverse cross-functional members, potentially including outside vendors and spanning multiple geographic locations.

Report and escalate to management potential issues as needed. Proactively anticipate and identify risk areas and alert stakeholders. Proactively determine and make recommendations for optimal paths for project success.

Identify and monitor project performance metrics. Analyze and present trends and recommendations to peers, the team leader, and management. Maintain and continuously improve the project management process, guidelines, tools / templates, best practices, and overall implementation. Train teams on adopted practices.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelors Degree with 5+ years of experience or

Master's degree with 3+years of experience

Six sigma certification

Nice to Have

Experience in project/program management, lean leader certification, blackbelt six sigma certification, quality engineering and/or supplier quality, prior work experience in medical device preferred, PMP certification.
